I've been rocking a few Columbia fleece vests off of Amazon lately, they are perfect for the time between winter and spring where it's not quite warm out yet.

We have a potentially big one coming too on the East Coast.

I went up to a place called Lost Lake Cafe & Lounge on Thursday. Burger was good, but not as good as I imagine the breakfast food was. Meant to stop by there for dinner on my last night, but got snagged by a bud before I was headed up. Which was awesome and suck at the same time. I ended up eating at a side bar to the Daily Grill and their hamburger sucked. One was under cooked and the next one was all but burnt. Apparently the chef doesn't know what medium well means Still, had a great time. I'm going to probably plan better next year.

yeah, probably shouldn't even call them a chef. at that point, it's just some dude trying to cook burgers on a grill.

I appreciate it. I definitely had a great time despite the piss poor last meal. If I wasn't already running behind and getting gentle reminders from my Mrs that she had to work the next day I would have either walked across the street to The Cheesecake Factory or caught a ride up to Lost Lake. I definitely should have Uber'd more. I think I'm going to add that to the budget next year. I surprisingly came home with money and was pretty happy about that. Made a payment with half and have to make a Costco run with the rest. I'll catch up on the other thread to see what you all have been up to in my absence.

Yeah, if I didn't have a shitty truck I'd probably drive for them. I will say ours up here kind of suck compared to down in California. I caught a ride from my wife's office down to my hotel before the show and then back again once it was over. Dude on the way back GPS was taking us in circles, but mine was funky all weekend too. Made for more walking than was necessary. Like I said, more Uber next year.

If I want to bury my money on my property, should I convert my bills to coin, or would burying paper money be ok?

Gold would be the most practical. It depends on how rich you are, I guess.

if you bury paper money, make sure to put it in a sealed plastic bag with no oxygen in the bag. if you have access to a food saver vacuum sealer, they work great for things other than just food. then, put the bag(s) in a sealable, waterproof, hard container.

this. it won't matter how you store it, since gold never tarnishes. it doesn't matter what you do to it, it will always be gold.
