So I just found out the last person to use the cordless drill didn’t plug in the battery. Now I have to wait while it charges before I can use it.

When I picture you ^ with a drill, I think of Garth with that grinder in in that Wayne’s World movie.

An operator here had a meltdown yesterday. It was on the radio and then in person when Higher Ups came to see him. Security had to stay with him until they got a plane in to get him outta here.

Two co-workers are gunning for the title of most annoying person today. They're together and have been making their noises all afternoon. One is in his 50's and whistles like bird or like the sound when something falls during an old animation. The other is 40 and is meowing like a cat. One of these noises is happening about every 45 seconds.

I asked them politely to stop. They didn't. I put on headphones to block them out and was told I can't wear headphones in the shop. When I explained why I had them on they said I had to "just deal with it."

I am. By putting on headphones.

Right there with ya, still not sure why people insist on talking to me when I'm wearing headphones. They are there for a reason, an attempt to drown out whatever inane chatter is coming out of your mouth.

We just bought a new car yesterday and our salesman was great and very low pressure. But man, once we got into the financing office they were a pain in the butt trying to get us buy add on packages.

when i bought my truck back in '11, the salesman was a really cool guy. my insurance agent told me to go see him and said he was a good person and wouldn't try to screw me over. and he was right. but when i went to talk to the money guy, he tried to get me to add on some stuff and kept talking about payments and how much they'd be and how many there'd be. even though i kept telling him i was paying for the whole thing up front. and then he kept saying, "well, if you finance just 'x' amount, you can get a little better deal on the price." i just said, "no thanks, i'm good with the price. i just need to sign the paperwork and be on my way." he was a nice enough buy, it just seemed a bit pushy. which i understand it's their job to try and get people to buy as much as possible. but when i say "no", i really mean "NO". and if you keep asking, i'm liable to just get up and walk out.

So there I was, just pulled into the parking spot at the convenience store and this beer truck shows up. No, scratch that - not just a beer truck, but a BLUE MOON beer truck. These are rare gems out on America's highways that delivery one of the finest beers ever to be made.

So I shouted "HEY, Beerguy!" The driver looked over at me and I said "Deliver some of that to my friend in Georgia, he loves that stuff!"

Then I snickered and walked away.
