Received or bought? If the former, would your sister be interested in adopting me?
I got my license at 16, basically just for bragging rights since I still walked/biked ~6 miles one way to school everyday until my senior year. Before anyone asks, i did have access to a bus but it was quicker to walk most days and for the most part I didn't have to wake up as early to walk as i would have had to if i wanted to take the bus

Its a smaller company of maybe 30 shops. I know when i was hired they emphasized that they were looking for some one with experience- they're not really set up to train. I took the time to shadow the guy and gave him some tips to work more efficiently. Unfortunately it didn't do any good, he started making excuses to get me to actually do the work for him, and when i walked away he had another guy doing his work ("showing him how its done")....submitted a recommendation for his termination Sunday night and HR called me last nighr to say they approved it so when i go in Saturday I get to deliver the pink slip.

Mimosas are a weekend drink. Then again, Tuesday is the new Saturday.

Mimosa is a baby Buck's Fizz. Buck's Fizz is 50% Champagne and 50% orange juice, but a mimosa is only 25% Champagne and 75% orange juice.

Have fun with your weak drink.

Not sure who's making your mimosas. But you need to fire them. Wabosas are 98% champagne with a splash of oj for color and vitamin C. Don't wanna get the scurvy.

His father bought the truck about a month ago. Body isn't in as good shape as my '92 Toyota.
They have 4 kids, so I doubt they would want anymore. Sorry........

I didn't get my driver's license until after I graduated from high school, even though I already knew how to drive. All I had for transportation was my skateboard. I was a skater my 4 years in high school.

I ruined my credit by taking on too many credit cards back in the early to mid-2000's. Obviously, nobody in their right mind would extend me credit in the following years but, beginning a couple of months ago, I started getting all these offers for credit cards. A couple of companies, one small and one big, have repeatedly sent me offers and one company that offers loans has sent me an invitation to apply for a loan. What the hell is going on? Why am I suddenly so creditworthy?

I never understood this. Someone with many credit cards, sometimes even outstanding debts, usually have no problem getting another. My fiancee is like this, she has an outstanding car note (refinanced 3x and still owes about $6k on a 20 yr old car). She also has 3 student loans active with over $30k. All while someone like me with one credit card, paid off routinely, building a decent credit score(deemed as a responsible borrower but with limited credit history) couldn't finance a car without jumping through many hoops. Of course once I got financed, I've been receiving nonstop credit card/loan offers ever since.

Paying off your card isn't as good as keeping a balance that an interest can be applied to.

They make no money off a paid off balance, and if you do that monthly you do not get charged interest and they make no money..

They like it, and you get a good rep. ( score ) if you keep a balance, and make payments

I know that, but it doesn't really make sense that one can be irresponsible and not pay their balance and have a higher credit rating as someone who does.

I never understood it ethier.

For years and years I would never put on my card more than what I could pay off at the end of the month.

But now ( even more ) years and years later I've always had a balance after making a payment at the end of the month,
and now ( sad to say ) I have an outstanding balance of over $10k on my card.

But a Credit Score of 721 go figure
