I noticed guys with painted nails is a thing again? Or did it never went away?

On a sidenote, "schmalz" is the new trendy cooking grease. As a cook, color me unsurprised. I've been using it for ages when nobody cared about it, except for old world German Grandmas.

Rockers in the 80's did it, emo's in the 90's did it, hipsters in the 00's did it.

I don't think it went away, just different groups do it.

I don't really mind but watching a Tom Hardy type cook preparing food in a video with painted light blue nails kind of caught me by surprise.

Isn’t it odd how the choice of words used can change the meaning in someone’s mind? For example, you can say "have a nice day" and no one thinks anything of it. However if you say "enjoy the next 24 hours" then you sound vaguely threatening.

I don't keep up with hip hop at all these days but I did see an article on MSN about Jay-Z explaining (kind of) his lyrics on this new song from Meek Mill. I'm listening to it now for the first time and I'm not impressed that far but I scrolled down to the comments and a lot of comments on Jay having a great verse so hoping I'm not disappointed.

Why do I let morons on Twitter bother me? I should just block them right away instead of engaging in their obvious trolling. I hate how stupid people on the internet can be sometimes. It's so frustrating, and it's no good for my blood pressure. I need to learn to be more relaxed and not let things bother me so easily.

I know what you mean. As a joke, I always wish my co-workers a happy "48 hours off" on Fridays or I'll say "See you in 48 hours" give or take and that always gets me playful evil eyes (and rightly so

). A simple "Have a nice weekend" just gets me a Have a nice weekend back if I'm lucky.

What are you talking about? Is the USPS actually shutting down completely tomorrow? That'll be a first. No wonder I have people at work asking me if we're open tomorrow.

My girlfriend just reminded me that today's the anniversary of my sister's death. I feel like such an a$$h0le for forgetting(just goes to show how busy I've been this year). She would've been 35 this year. Damn...now I don't know if I'm going to be able to focus on anything the rest of the day.
