An old friend of mine just text me out of the blue to ask what time I get out of work and if I could meet him at a local microbrewery tonight, he apparently has something to tell me that he can only do in-person. It's gonna drive me nuts the next 6hrs or so trying to figure out what in Hell he has to tell me, last I heard from him he was taking a road trip out west - that was maybe 3yrs ago, nothing since til now that is ..i hope it's something good!

I've been binge-watching public freakout videos on youtube for the past couple of weeks. I get a kick out of watching people throwing tantrums and making general fools of themselves. So, based on the information gleaned, I've concluded the following:

Walmart should ban people who refuse to show their receipts on their way out. Or argue with clerks over nonsense, film without permission, fight with other customers, try to return merchandise fraudulently or are general *******s.

Fast food restaurants should train employees to de-escalate situations with customers, not worsen them by insulting people, making threats or cussing. I'm in the customer service field (sort of) and one thing I've learned is people calm down if you talk to them like a human being and not shout. Shouting is the worst you can do because it motivates people to blow up at you, making things worse. The right words can work wonders most of the time.

If stores don't want you to film inside the premises, there should be signs posted where people can see them. Also, there should be laws limiting where and when people can film with their cell phones. At the very least, the person being filmed should be given an opportunity to grant permission to be filmed. The print media industry already has strict rules regarding the use of intellectual property - similar rules should apply to regular citizens being filmed, especially if the footage goes up on social media. At least give people a chance to make money off of it.
