I think it seems especially cruel to offer up footage of a performance that ultimately led to an actor getting fired. That'd be like getting fired from a job and your old boss sharing the work that got you terminated in perpetuity. No one comes out looking very good. |

So many shots with short segments intercut with standard 35mm in entire scenes. It's quite jarring (in terms of colour/contrast/grain). In other news, I found out a little more about Part 1, and it seems daylight scenes/indoor sets were shot on 5247 instead of 5294. So if it ends up being done right, it should be quite fine grained. |

why is Bob Gale supervising the releases anyway, he is not a director. Zemeckis and/or cinematographer Dean Cundey should be the people overseeing restorations
