Ohhhh. I just assumed the other one was the Zavvi set.

I thought the other might have been the Hoverboard Edition and that HMV would get it but no sign of that one.

The truth is, I wasn't told what it would be, but there is another set coming next year. Keep an eye out for HMV to do something interesting with the first movie soon (if I were to hazard a guess, I'd say a "Cine Edition" of sorts, akin to their Beetlejuice and Goonies releases this past week, I picked both up).
I do recall them having it in their classic VHS line packaging, but I assume this is something anniversary based.

Was wondering if they might do a Cine-Edition.

It would have to be something transcendent to best the Amazon UK exclusive. I think I'll be happy as is with the preorder I already have in place.

Same.
However, if that other CE will be sold on Amazon UK and is good enough, I will buy it too.

For those that claim sleeves don't scratch discs, I just received a copy of the Avatar 3-disc special edition set, which unbeknownst to me used sleeves. 2 out of the 3 discs were scratched first time out of the sleeves, removed carefully. Disc 2 has several long scratches on it. Not circular - long straight scratches, like from being slid into sleeves.

People who say sleeves don't scratch discs aren't actually looking at their discs.

we never said that they don’t but majority of us here haven’t had that issue. my alien set gets watched minimum 12 watches a year and i’ve had that since release and none of my discs have scratches on them.if you want me to send you my set so you can verify it please pm me and i’ll gladly send it so you can inspect them and send them back and i’ll cover both shipping ways

No, when I say I have discs that aren't scratched I mean my discs aren't scratched.

I still can’t decide between sleeves edition or steelbooks. Which edition did you guys end up deciding on?

Discs can get scratched over time removing/ putting back but rarely will affect playback of the discs

Discs can get scratched even with amaray disc hubs
Some can come scratched even before been used.

What matters is if the discs play

DVD discs are subject to be affected by scratches long term but Blu-ray discs less so.

Steelbooks. Although i'm not the biggest fan of those, it was an easy decision to make over the sleeve packaging. I prefer to have each film in it's own case.

If you pick any edition other than the UK Time Circuits Collector’s Edition, your mama won’t even love you.

I've looked at my discs, and there are no scratches. How do you know those scratches weren't there already and that the sleeve caused them? You don't, if it happened "first time out of the sleeves," meaning you didn't confirm those scratches weren't there before.

I've had long scratches on discs from plastic cases, so this means nothing. Other than no set of mine with paper sleeves has ever been scratched from taking them in and out, because yes, unlike you incorrectly imply, I've looked.

This version you guys talking about: https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Back-...lu-ray/275711/

I am not region 2 so unless it's all region that may not work for me. Also the price will be a factor too.
