Part 3 in my opinion could have match the 1st film had it had more development, and 30 more minutes of runtime.

Docs love story was an excellent direction to go. It made him a more human character, but there's so much more conflict between emotions and scientific reasoning that could have been explored. Indeed the focus of the 3rd one should have been pretty much solely on Doc, and not have another rehashed Marty vs Biff fight. Martys story was resolved by 1 and 2, and Jennifer being left on the bench makes that clear.

I’ve already sent a message to Nissen about possibly making 4K versions of the BD VHS-replica artwork I had commissioned years ago (which you can find in my signature below)

The scene outside the clock tower at the beginning of the film blew me away - all of the lights really popped and the detail was amazing.

Aye this is a fine presentation all 3 films. I suppose the only question now is what's the future of BTTF. Well with all the milking Universal is doing (no complaints) with all the different editions. The obvious next step is solo releases for each film.

But with the fat stacks they are going to make, can't help but think the only direction for 40th is using some of that money to pay Stoltz off for getting that footage on an HD Blu-ray disc, packaged with the UHD. Or giving him a nice percentage from the sales of it.

Some folks poo-poo part III. Not me, I love all three parts equally. But I particularly love the old west scenes. It helps that I had the hots for Mary Steenburgen!

Is there anyway to buy the original covers in a 4K case? I don’t have a printer.

What I liked such adventurer in part 3 :

-It's nice, not depressive dark ultra violent like many films today.

-The good guys against bad guys, basic but nice, with cool touchs, some humor here and there.

-Visual effects are ellegant, not over exageratyed or over present or over synthetic neither like a video game opening.

-Heros are heros, not anabolic dumb people to try to make you feel out shape or belittled.

-Heroines are nice, nice girls, some good looking, not like a pornish or pseudo pornish selfish tendency of today stars roles.

Well, this is one of the more original reviews I've seen for Back to the Future Part III.

Am very excited to buy this set tomorrow at Walmart, but am also kind of sad that they didn't bother to remaster BTTF: The Ride. It's still the same version that came out on the BTTF DVD back in 2009 (it's still in 480P!). Thankfully, someone on YT spent a lot of time remastering the ride in 4K and put it up there for free.

Best Buy refunded me $5.35 for my steelbook order. I had no idea the price dropped.
