On to three.
It's the bollocks, isn't it? I still spotted a few things - hey, it's me - but the early comments about Part 2 being more DNR'ed etc than the first film are just complete nonsense, it looks glorious.

Doesn't having the Sharpness at 10 add sharpening on an LG?
I'm sure I read it should be 0 to be off?
I don't have an LG so going by what I've read.

I bought the 4k hoverboard version cheaper vs the regular 4k @ Amazon. Haven't shipped yet.

Man, I haven't watched these movies in years. I think I only ever ended up watching part 1 when the blu-ray trilogy came out (and sold it off when news broke of a 4K set), so I cannot wait to revisit all three. I've owned the trilogy on VHS, DVD, Blu-ray and now 4K. One of my favourite trilogies from my childhood (probably second to Star Wars OT), so between this and the Friday the 13th set last week, I'm gonna have my hands full for a while lol.

Mine too, shipped yesterday, maybe arriving today. Stleebook version.

Speaking of bollocks. We might have some bollocks on our hands. Watching it the now.

EDIT: Seems like a quality HDR analysis. Goes a long way to explaining as well why the usage of HDR in 3 is so bloody brilliant at complimenting it's photography.

Sharpening does not sharpen the image at all. It adds edge enhancement which is digital processing, and is usually called out with bad transfers in reviews. It makes the picture worse and should not be on at all.

Eh, it's easy enough to tell when something has "true HDR", even an idiot with a camera can manage to convey this. It's having the taste to set things apart and not start a "fake HDR" panic with the 'lesser' HDR titles where things get dicey.

I think the main thing to take away from the BTTF trilogies HDR is, they compliment not compromise the authenticity of the film's. Simple.

Particularly 3 though. We should all get on our knees and worship that HDR grade.

Camped outside my Target store for 15 minutes before it opened. Only 2 copies in stock. I missed that thrill. VERY happy to have this after the order cancellations/delays from both the .com's of Best Buy and Target.

My order from Target in July never processed so I cancelled it this morning and ordered with Best Buy for in store pick up today since they finally matched the lower price.

The hoverboard version is now out of stock since past few weeks, it was cheaper vs. the standard version. Was able to purchase early September.

I ordered the hoverboard edition months ago but just got an email that it's delayed. They'll let me know when it does ship. Rats.
