and don't give me that bs about they are old films. both BJ and goonies were old and they remastered them to 4k PERFECTLY. universal are just lazy sods.

Old films never look good in 4K only modern films shot on digital do!

[Show spoiler]The glossy black 4K cases or clear Criterion/Arrow cases are a step up from standard Blus, but from a visual and tactile standpoint they still feel mostly utilitarian and don't look particularly classy on a shelf. For me the only movie packaging that really "sparks joy" is that type of matte, slipcased digipak like Criterion's David Lynch titles, and these Universal books are quite nice as well as mentioned, both mostly made out of paper. Of course not viable for any old release, but something like a mini-gatefold sleeve, perhaps Blu-ray case height, I think could have maybe worked and looked a bit nicer.

I do. I love collecting and buying cds. For a while there, I was buying brand new sealed old cds with the hype sticker still on the shrink wrap. I just bought the new Wilco Summerteeth Deluxe edition on cd. And I will be getting the vinyl version as well. If fact, I'm getting them from a local record shop. At a higher price too. I generally still buy my music at local record shops. I even buy blank jewel cases in case the jewel case on a current cd gets damaged or anything.

I have heard that USPS have been marking some of their packages delivered, especially when it may arrive later than usual, so they don’t get dinged for each packaged delivered late. Then a few days later it shows up. I would contact your local post office and tell them that you never received your item even though it shows delivered on the tracking system.

Also, depending on when it was delivered on the day it said it was delivered on, it’s possible it was dropped off at the wrong house or someone stole it.

If usps won’t investigate what happened to the package, then you will need to contact GRUV to have them do it.

Finally saw Back to the Future and it looks wonderful, really great transfer. Second one looks very good, not great because several shots are soft (probably not a transfer fault just the way it was filmed)

About the packaging: It's beautiful and you can feel the good quality of the material but it's very impractical so I decided to put the 4K discs in the respective individual boxes of the DVD trilogy.

I'm almost done with Part III but am I the only one who thinks it's a shit ton louder than the others? I dropped it down to -15 db while I watched the other ones at -10db.
