Easily the BEST they have ever looked, even Part II with its effects shots and the tech of its time. Oh yeah, this is what we are talking about!
And I’ve read nothing but rave reviews about Part III so I’m stoked... |

This should do it, see how you can actually see the slats in the blinds in the 4k. |

I got the (US)BTTF 4K Trilogy as a gift. It's from Amazon. I didn't realize the discs are in cardboard packaging.
How is the cardboard packaging? I know this type of packaging can ruin discs. I'm considering returning it and getting the steelbook version. |

Just finished watching this set over the past 3 nights. Entertainment at its finest! These movies look amazing in 4K, particularly part 3. I thought 1 and 3 were great, and 2 was very good. The discs in my standard edition had small scratches but played fine.

I just got done watching Part 3; that scene where Marty and Doc are overlooking the vast valley at the end of the railroad as they make their plan is quite a site to behold, it’s GORGEOUS!
Damn this is a fine presentation.... |

So I just bought this trilogy from Deep Discount (never bought anything from them before) and having it shipped to Canada. After reading the reviews about deep discount, should I still be worried or expect it to arrive in good condition ? They emailed me saying it shipped.

I noticed something in Part III the other night that I had never seen despite watching these movies numerous times on VHS, DVD, and Blu-ray. In the scene where Doc & Marty are in the saloon and Buford Tannen is outside calling for Marty to come out, there is one shot where a light on a stand (as in a light used for lighting a scene) is clearly visible on the left side of the screen. It isn't turned on, so it's dark, and the light itself almost blends in with the "O" in the "Saloon" sign on the window, but it's there. I was shocked when I saw it. How could I have missed that on probably 30 previous viewings? Unless maybe that shot was reframed on previous releases to crop out the light, which is doubtful. |

If anyone is still itching to buy the 4K version with the little hoover board trinket from Amazon, they have lots of them in their warehouse deals for $37.49. I bought it and it was a complete perfect set, including the digital code (which I redeemed easily). So, it was a couple of dollars cheaper than buying the version without the hoover board trinket.

I made these since I don't care for the big box, and like the original posters.

Nissen's are the best.
You can contact him to ask for high res copies for printing. I did, but my printer isn't quite up to the task. Still great. |

I've compared both 2015/2020 releases on a reference monitor, one layer over another and clicking visibility to instant compare. Except for the higher resolution and some image stabilization, the 2015 release has a much superior master in terms of picture quality. The 2020 release has unpleasing VHS style noise. Also dubbing errors introduced in the DVD but not present on the VHS are yet to be fixed. |
