Oh it's not manhandling. You may have been personally lucky but this kind of packaging is not kind to discs. That is a fact.

Nah it has nothing to do with being ruff, the slide packaging sucks, brand new discs have been wrecked by it already from my experience. Yes the Uni glue melts, HAS HAPPENED TO ME, it's real. I also bought a TASM 1/2 set and all the discs wear already getting scratched from knocking around a warehouse and rubbing the sleeves.

Did you choose media mail? If so, it’s not unusual for the status to not show any updates until it either arrives at your local post office or sometimes even up until it’s delivered.

I've seen Uni silent fix things (Conan music), but it took years, likely not fixing anything on this

Reel 2 (18:25-37:25) is sub HD resolution.

It's flimsy but not super flimsy if that makes any sense. It's also embossed. Very similar to the Best Buy exclusive steelbook box.

With Universal, either they fix it quickly or wait many years. A case of the former was Love Actually, they admitted they screwed up the encoding. I hope that Universal fixes the issues sooner rather than later, but I'm prepared for it to happen later, many years.
