For the ones that have Informed Delivery, does "ATL-VISON/OHIO" show up on your shipping info?

If so, they might have sent me my Parks and Recreation Complete Series even when they cancelled it earlier on the month.

Excuse me, but are you high? Toy Story is the best animated film ever made, and the sequels aren't far behind.

Getting a bit off topic here, but I wouldn’t really consider the four Toy Story films to be a trilogy, and while the first one was certainly revolutionary and deserves acclaim, I also wouldn’t say they’re the best animated films ever made. But again, veering a bit too far off topic here. I had to double check that I was in the BTTF thread!

Not even close. Not kinda close. The best animated movie, Toy Story is not.

The grain throughout all three films kills the PQ my BRD versions upscaled look A LOT better than these! Also the first movie freezes whenever it feels like it the only real good thing about these releases is the atmos and that's about it! If i knew they were going to look THIS bad I would have saved all the money it cost me to import the steelbook here and kept the BRD box set. Definitely NOT A MUST OWN!!
I have to commend you for going against the grain (literally and figuratively) on here, but they like gang up on anyone that disagrees with their "astute" findings. The Atmos track alone was a massive disappointment here compared to a really good Atmos retrofit track like the one for the original Jumanji. Here, many of the sound effects are repeated into the front, side and rear channels (e.g. the clock chimes near the beginning) and so where you sit in the room matters a great deal as to where those chimes are located. In the front row here, they were only at the front wide speakers, but in the back row, they were 2/3 into the back of the room and in the middle row they were halfway back. That's a very different experience for each row of seats and something one would expect from a mono-surround title, not a Dolby Atmos one. SOME things were better (e.g. the lightning bolt at the clock tower was locked to the front heights whereas the old 5.1 soundtrack had it floating along with arrayed sound too).

Overheads were mostly limited to the thunder storms and soundtrack bits in the first movie. The 2nd movie had the flying car effects so there was a bit more going on, but overall, the Atmos soundtracks here were a mild improvement over the 5.1 soundtrack at best, IMO.

It's almost like they didn't take the time to isolate all the surround effects into discrete tracks. People sitting midway back in the room with a single row of seats (most home theaters) probably wouldn't even NOTICE the arrayed sound effects at all. But that's part of the problem. If you don't have a setup that can even pick up the issues, how would you notice them? Yet even mentioning them probably warrants anger as people take any criticism of their favorite movie releases personally, even though it has NOTHING to do with the movie/plot/acting itself. I simply hoped for a bit more from the Atmos remix. Jumanji, by comparison had a better Atmos soundtrack than the sequels, IMO (far more going on in all channels, especially the overhead ones with the mosquitoes, etc.)

Given my 2K projector, I don't have any comments on the video changes, other than the colors seemed less oversaturated in some scenes (they probably cranked it up a bit on the BD set).

I was looking more forward to increased immersion in the soundtrack. Even Groundhog Day, despite little overhead, ramped up the ear-level speaker channel immersion (you really felt like you were there on the street where the original soundtrack had very little surround going on in most scenes at all).

Just ignore them. I figured out a long time ago, there's a difference between posting an honest, thoughtful opinion and posting things just to get people worked up. The latter don't deserve to be acknowledged.

Well if Douglas Adams can have "The fifth book in the increasingly inaccurately named Hitchhikers Trilogy", then I'm cool with a bit of leeway.

I enjoyed 1 & 2 a lot. 3 was ok. 4 was absolute shite. A bunch of politically correct junk mixed with the dumbest character I've ever seen (the popsicle stick thing) while established characters got almost no time. Worse yet, it wasn't funny.

My biggest problem with 4 is that the girl, after begging for Woody, just tossed him aside and doesn't care at all, a few days later.
