I had the same issue at about 48 minutes, but I cleaned the disc and it worked the second go. Disc looked spotless beforehand, so I'm crossing my fingers that it was just a spec of dust.

My gruv eBay order is scheduled to be delivered today. As soon as I receive it I'll be calling to cancel my Target order which still hasn't shipped and since they failed so miserably, I'm going to ask them still honor my half price Mallrats. Normally I couldn't care less, especially for the price I got it on eBay for but this far along it comes down just plain bad service.

I watched 1 and 2 over the last two nights. Both of them freeze up at about that time. Jumping back and playing that chapter again did not help. It did allow me to jump forward skipping that chapter.

How disappointing. I had the BR with that framing issue, and now this. Physical media is dying and they F' up the manufacturing process?

Good to hear your Gruv order is nearly with you. Mine is in purgatory (not cancelled/not despatched) but hopefully will get allocated when Gruv receive their next batch.

What I don't understand why they have to repeatedly tell the world, over and over, how much they cannot watch those horrid sequels. It's like how vegans have to repeatedly tell people their anti-meat stance.

I also understand someone popping in here every once and awhile to ask if the films will be released as individual 4Ks (because they only want to buy the films they like). That's a valid question, and you can do that without launching into (yet once again) how bad you thought the sequels were.

We get it. BTTF III was 30 years ago now, so why aren't you over it?

I did this last week. I ordered BTTF + Mallrats. Cancelled BTTF online and it still kept a $7.50 discount on Mallrats ($29.49 -> $21.99)

Especially knowing that:
- GR-UV got their shipments late
- Two customer service representatives
- only a couple of warehouse employees
- Corona shut down and forced labor reduction.

Yes, they film a LOT of suburban scenes / house exteriors in Pasadena because it looks so much like "regular" America.

My disc 1 played fine on my Pana 820 and Pana 9000 but my dad just told me that it stutters and pixelating on his Sony X700. Weird.
