Pre-ordered the Steels from Best Buy yesterday. I was torn between them and using the target BOGO promo but I’ve had bad experiences with cardboard sleeves myself in the past which makes it easy to try and avoid them. Otherwise I’m not one to pay extra for steelbooks since to me it’s only the disc that matters most to me yet ironically I go nuts when movies get delivered without slips.

Thanks, preordered for time being as no UK pre order yet. Works out €64 shipped to UK which is approx. £58 which isn't bad for 3 x 4k Steelbooks. If standard 4k release ia alot cheaper or UK pricing is similar, I'll probably change but currently a good price.

The $30 price difference between Target $45 regular set and Best Buy $75 steelbooks after tax is insane just for packaging difference. I’m contemplating getting the regular set and put the discs in CD cases but then the packaging would be separated in storage. Is there a chance of a price drop on the BB steelbooks?

I want to pre-order the 4K Steelbook Trilogy, but I am concerned with how the transfers will look on the regular Blu-rays. I don't have a 4K TV yet. Hopefully they won't just include the old Blu-rays from 2010...

When they ship if you pay via card. I don't know how PayPal works with Target but I would assume that takes the money now

Target Pre-authorizes the card right away, it drops off after a few days.
Same with Best Buy. but BB randomly pre-authorizes until release date.
PayPal takes the money right away for both if paying that way.
