Would go out of my way for one if it included any extra feature(s) or disc.
The last bonus disc (30th Anniversary) was a world disc. I suppose the new one will be as well.

What burnt in text does BTTF have?

Like the dates october 12, 1955 etc or the time that shows on a black screen in parts throughout the series. If they are doing this like scarface they may player generate the fonts and texts. The credits may also get altered as well like Paramounts recent remasters and The Blues Brothers.

Oh. A title on a blank screen isn't quite the same thing, and as I don't recall Universal changing those with the prior UK/Euro discs of BTTF then it's highly likely they'll follow the same pattern. I know that Scarface got changed for the UK, as although there was a player-generated BD for Europe back in the day we got given a clone of the US disc, but on UHD we just got the Euro disc.

Interesting you mention the credits being burnt in but altered, as for Scarface Universal did that with the new US Blu but not the US UHD; the former has recreations of the titles on much higher generation footage, the latter has the OG opticals which look nasty.

I don't think we have to worry aboot BTTF on UHD though.

If no one likes the packaging then just go with the steelbooks. I’m sure the price will go down by the time it’s released & Best Buy refunds you the money within a day or 2.

<shrug> Different studio. MUCH more modern (and still current) franchise. Apples to oranges.

Actually, there's only two instances of that. At the beginning of Part II and then again at the beginning of Part III.

Default Remasters

I'm sorry if this has been mentioned tons of times but are the 1080p blu rays in the 4k set going to be remastered? I know the regular blu ray set is remastered, just curious about the 4k set and I don't want to read through the whole thread...

How are you going to expect people read all 112 pages? SMH.

I dont know the answer and while it is courteous to read the whole thread, as with most releases on any format on this forum, if you skip to the pages where people start receiving their 4K/Blu Ray it becomes very clear if the Blu Ray disc in a 4k set is an older or newer version.

Also the US/UK threads are very useful for determining any differences that us Brits are normally shafted on.

So basically wait until October and skip the thread until you find some user responses to what they have in their physical hand, unless this was a Disney thread of course.

The "to be concluded..." title at the end of part 2 doesn't show up in the Prime Video stream, instead it's a subtitle generated by the player.

Geez, why not just remove the special effects and describe them in subtitles.

Aside from alternate artwork, is the hoverboard the only real difference in the sets?
