Sigh...I want that Amazon UK exclusive so bad, but it looks like what happened to UK buyers with MIDSOMMAR's 4K release has become a karmic payback for those of us in the U.S. 4:00 in the morning?!

I'm soo bloody sick of these absurdly limited sets. I wake up this morning and the limited set I'm hoping for from Amazon is already unavailable. WTF!?

Even the standard edition on Amazon UK says unavailable, and I put in a "temporary" UK address and set it as the default address. It still says unavailable.

How is a common set of films like this so damn limited?

It shows as available for me when I change the address to a UK one (from the top left of the page under Amazon.co.uk where it says: Deliver to "Your name").

I contacted Amazon UK CS via chat and got a rep who told me the CE was never available and it should become available soon... lol

I told him to escalate my complaint because it seems Amazon UK allowed a 30 count maximum purchases for the CE while it should be kept at 3 or 2 per account.

He promised he will but... we know how those "reps" roll.

Interestingly, the UK Time Circuits listing shows German rating logos on BluRays (but not on UHDs). And, most oddly, not on the bonus disc.

I haven't been paying attention, have they mentioned if the BDs are new masters? It is Universal after all.

Huge thanks - that worked for me and let me order the standard edition to my fake UK address. Now hopefully I'll be able to change it by the time it's released so it can be shipped to my real US address without messing up the order.

If the limited set appears, I might switch over to that. Not sure yet.

I really don't get why it's so hard for them to limit the number of items per order/account/credit card/address ? Would surely order more regular things for Zavvi if had a realistic chance at scoring a "limited" item from time to time...

Well shoot - I didn't check this thread earlier today and I see I missed the UK version of the French set! Though if it really sold out that quickly and it was released at 4 AM, I probably would never have gotten it anyway.

Maybe it will come back??

I think that's what happened to most of us! A few people reported ordering it, so it was definitely available for a bit. Crossing my fingers it comes back!

No idea how long it was available but seems like it went live at around 10:30am yesterday and I ordered mine at 10:56am.

Might have just been lucky as I happened to be on my PC at the right time.

I hope so. I will pay £50 for the regular edition without even thinking, but I'm also happy to pay £90 for the time circuits set as would a lot of other people, should Universal want to make some more money.
