Where the hell was he building the Delorean and how'd he keep this gigantic project a secret from him? Seems like something he'd be working on/off for 30 years would be kept in short sight.
Here's a screenshot from the opening credits that implies the burning down of his house and selling of the property he owned:

From the way it's glossed over it sounds like the Delorean was recently moved there to keep it out of sight. To be fair, it's been a long while since I've seen the film so I very well could be wrong about the timeframe of when it was moved compared to when it was revealed.

Doc has that cargo truck. The DeLorean was kept in there. No need for it to be at the house.
My question is where did he keep THAT thing?

I’d recommend reading the BTTF comic that Bob Gale wrote in 2018. It fills in missing bits that connect to the movies and is a real treat if you’re a big fan. It’s available in three collected editions. I have the first one and loved it.

Anyway, the Brown mansion being destroyed. Let’s just say there’s more to it than that, and it is awesome.

Oh man, I didn't even realize that Bob Gale did a set of comics. Thanks for the heads up !

You're welcome. There is grain but the YouTube compression is just poor.
Thank you for doing this. Aside from the grain, you can already see the improvements in the restoration. At last no edge enhancement!

Having seen the trilogy hundreds upon hundreds of times, on the original VHS release, laserdisc, DVD, Blu-ray, and now this 4K preview, I think it looks really good. The skin tones aren't as orange like in the Blu-ray releases.

Hopefully this will be the definitive versions of the trilogy that never need to be remastered again.

You'll need to update your orange skinned avatar...

As always with all things BTTF related, the "SCALPERS", are the real victors here
and actual fans of the Trilogy are left with nothing as usual.
It will happen again and again with all these "limited numbered" releases and merchandise.

Why make this limited at all ? Everyone wants it, a few happy people can order it besides the "SCALPERS",
the rest buy it from SCALPERS on Ebay for 4 or 5 times the original price.

So I guess Universal is satisfied to make less money than the SCALPERS do.

Or maybe the SCALPERS turn out to be Universal employees,
I wouldn't be at all surprised if they are.

See you guys at the next SCALPERS Give Away.

As far as the comics are concerned, I’d love to see graphic novel adaptations of the trilogy.

watched the part 1 4k DV on itunes. I think it is too bright or it could be resulted from my DV setting on LG B7 TV. anyway, Dolby Atmos is quite good.

Thanks for the reply! My code requires a disc unfortunately. Guess I’ll just wait for the new 4K set.

If the YouTube version is meant to look better than the blu ray these caps are not helping. Ready to get blasted but the Blu-ray looks way better than YouTube.

When we get proper downsized caps of the 4k hopefully this will change but look at the flowers on Jennifer's blouse, way better detail on the blu ray.

This comparison is pointless to promote the 4k.
