But for the record, the Ebay system IS set up for a seller to cancel the transaction AFTER the sale. You simply site a reason from a drop box of I think five different reasons ("item broken", "error", etc). You also get ended-item seller fees refunded, and PayPal fees on the buyer's payment refunded in full once you have refunded the buyer. So it's possible, but tedious to do tons of individual, small orders. More worth the time to cancel a bigger order (which would likely be a reseller anyway). And yes, the buyer may still leave feedback if the seller cancels, so that might also be an issue with them deciding whether or not to cancel smaller orders (i.e. there might be the chance they'll let those go, and cancel anything over 5 copies ordered). |

Last Night, Universal's Website (GRUV) and ebay page (GRUV) put Back to the Future 4k UHD Ultimate Collection/Trilogy on sale for $9.99
Most of us got an order in on either or, some got one in on both. Some asshats are trying to ruin the deal buy buying 80 copies and 30 copies and we are now speculating as to if Universal will honor orders or cancel when the WebMaster comes in tomorrow morning. We are hoping that the single and dual ordered copies are going to be honored and that the resellers will get their complete order canceled. |

Managed to nab one off Gruv. Couldn't resist even though I hate the book sleeve design. I remember someone mentioning that they use protective sleeves for releases like these, can anyone recommend a brand and where to get it? Even if this order gets cancelled I'd like to try them on the Hitchcock UHD set.

I must have a screw loose because that’s an astonishing, gobsmacking deal, but I still prefer dropping $100 for my UK Time Circuits Exclusive Collector’s Set. I hate me.

I ordered two because it is a shitty packaging job and it will take two or more copies to get a set without scratches. It took two for me to get a single workable Hitchcock set. Three scratched discs in the first box, the second had even more but one of the discs that was scratched up on the first set (Birds 4K) was clean on the second. So after two sets, I still have two scratched discs. One is Psycho, which won't matter as I will go for the replacement program anyways, and the other is Rear Window and thankfully it is mostly clean and only scratched badly in the spindle dead area, where it doesn't matter. It will probably be the same mess with this one, thus two copies purchased.

DigiBooks have/use a slick waxy coating to keep them from scratching. I've yet to have a scratched disk. I'm more wary of Amaray and DigiPaks having broken hubs those scratching the disks. |

Maybe y'all should stop saying it is an error...
Don't want them to be like: "Well, it was an error with our system, we know it was an error, they know it was an error. let's cancel all the error orders as that is our 'right.'" Nope, it was a deal. I don't want them to have any "ammo" to use to be able to cancel the legitimate orders. |
