it's quite insane Universal has been robbed of about $200,000 this week because of possibly an individual or individuals screwing up. hate to be the intern or interns who are going to have to pay off for the damages.

I mean, to play devil's advocate, it's not all losses, because plenty of people will have bought copies for $9.99 that otherwise wouldn't have bought it for more money, myself included. For me, I wanted the discs but have been very on the fence about the US packaging and it doesn't seem that non-US discs come with (lossy) 2.0 tracks, so I was debating waiting for an amaray set, but for $9.99, I'm willing to put up with the crap packaging.

Yeah, a lot of times the system will just mark something shipped when the tracking number is generated, but it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s literally left the warehouse.

Are your digital codes from the previous BluRay set?

If so, and you still have the code sheet and they're the older 12-digit codes, they should be double redeem codes. Enter them into iTunes, and the BluRay codes will upgrade to 4K, AND port out to MA as 4K.

This worked for my Jurassic 4-film bluray set this weekend, as a matter of fact. Had originally entered the HD codes some time back in Vudu or MA, but was able to re-enter them in iTunes as 4K, and they ported out to MA as 4K.

A kind forum user had PM'd me with this tip this weekend (thanks again!), when I had offhandedly mentioned I was hoping to use the 4K BTTF codes to upgrade my HD BTTF. Worked for me on the two BTTF movies that had already gone 4K on iTunes, and worked on Jurassic Park.

Warner Bros. movies, even with the old codes, didn't work for me, though. Just the Universal titles I tried. Like an idiot, I had tossed most of the code sheets I had already redeemed on Vudu/MA, so I could only try a few titles overall.

Random question that I've never been able to find an answer to, maybe someone here can help. In Back to the Future 2, when Marty's Daughter Marlene appears for the first time and comes down the stairs, does anyone know why she's moving so strangely?

I know Michael J. Fox plays her as well so the only reason I've ever come up with is that he was trying to really show off that it was him in the character, but I don't know.

Just something that I've always wondered.

I think he was wearing "futuristic sneaker heels" and attempting to play up her ditzy character. Overall convincing makeup effects though.

Thanks for the tip!! My World and Fallen Kingdom DCs redeemed in 4K, but my Jurassic Park blu’s are from an old Best Buy exclusive steel book set, which came with xml codes that only redeemed in SD. I got HD rights through Vudu’s D2D programs few years ago, but I’d love to upgrade to 4K rights sometime.

But... since this is the BTTF thread.. I’ll just say that I’m excited to get the new 4K set for only $10, assuming it doesn’t get cancelled, that is!!

If you mean the way she's walking slightly sideways, I think it was just to obscure her face a bit so as not to ruin the joke when she gets to the bottom and tilts her head to reveal that it's Michael playing her.

No joke, but it took my partner years to realise that Marty's daughter was played by Michael J. Fox. Part II was on the telly recently and she was like, 'WTF, IS THAT MICHAEL J. FOX!?'

Also somehow just found out while looking this up that he also plays Seamus from Part III. How did I not recognize that?!
