At $9.99, why don't you just gift it to friends/family? some members have had their orders cancelled.

It will say in the back of the panel, or in the "About" section on your TV's menu.

We want LESS DNR not more. Grain is part of film. It holds the "texture" of the image. Take it all away and everyone looks like wax figures.

Oh, I've definitely noticed most UHDs I've seen have done a great job of delivering more faithful color and removing unwanted tints seen in previous blu-rays.

And many newer 4k-mastered blu-rays have been looking amazing the last couple years with color. But some studios still put out tinted releases or just don't seem to get the color right.

Yeah, he was listed as a "transfer supervisor" on Criterion's release of "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" and it supposedly has some inconsistent DNR.

Then that right there points out a major failing on the TV industry, if they can't even agree on a naming scheme that makes sense. When I see cool, natural/normal, warm1, and warm 2, logic would dictate that natural is neutral, and warm 2 is the warmest, while cool is cool.

But I'm not sure all TVs are like that. My 2016 LG LCD UHD set just makes too many blu-rays look sickeningly yellow on warm 2, but skin tones look great in natural/normal, and way too cool on cool.

What stinks is that apperently when the films were re-relesed in 2015 they looked really good as werent DNR'd (never seen the re-release in theatres)

That's how I feel, too. That's why I was asking if the Warm 2 recommendation applies to all sets.

Never knew that lol. The more the merrier for me but ultimately we are at the mercy of the Studios.

We have seen so many UHDs with lesser grain but managed to look good. BTTF could be on that list.

Anyone know where you can get the Back To The Future Trilogy 4K Digipak with English text on the cover ?

I had a pre-order on Amazon Italy because it had English text on the cover, but now they changed the picture and it's all Italian text now...

It does, but some sets don't have Warm 2, Sony's have Expert 1, if I remember, and some just have one warm setting, LG's have three. A lot of sets will shift colour temperature settings when you go into movie mode, so that might help. If it stays in standard switch to Warm 2.

The yellowish tint is more a by-product of having everything blue and bright, you literally have to wean your brain off it.

LG OLEDs tend to push red much more lately as I noticed which can contribute to Warm white balance to be on the golden side.
For the record this is how RGB Gain is calibrated OOTB on my display:
Cool: RGB 172-172-192
Medium: RGB 192-182-178
Warm: RGB 192-160-128
As you see red is favored heavier over the other two in Warm mode. This is why I use Medium on my display. Cool is out of question but can look good in game mode.

Thanks! Awesome. Ordered. It's a tad more expensive than I was hoping for, but it's BTTF after all and still fine with me. I actually cancelled my UK pre-order when that one turned out to be a digi and thought I'd have to wait much longer for sth like that.

I haven't gotten a notification or email regarding BBTF 4K yet, my order still says 'Queueing', but also ordered a Parks and Rec Complete Series on Ebay and that one released yesterday and I haven't heard anything on shipping, already sent them an email but no answer so far.
