I did my best to give Target my business on this one to support them for being the low price leader. My preorder was placed back in July and as of this morning Target hadn't even charged my card or vaguely prepared to ship (which they normally do the thursday or friday before release) so I switched to Amazon. My Amazon order shipped within the day, scheduled to arrive on Wednesday.

Maybe Target is having inventory issues with this title.

I’m still debating on whether to cancel my Amazon 4K order with the hoverboard. Not sure it’s worth the extra money. $42 at Target or Best Buy without and $69 at Amazon with. Plus how often would I look or even play with the little plastic hoverboard? I can pick my copy up at Target tomorrow on my way to work if needed.

So my Best Buy order finally shipped, due to arrive tomorrow.

Man, I haven't watched these movies in years. I think I only ever ended up watching part 1 when the blu-ray trilogy came out (and sold it off when news broke of a 4K set), so I cannot wait to revisit all three. I've owned the trilogy on VHS, DVD, Blu-ray and now 4K. One of my favourite trilogies from my childhood (probably second to Star Wars OT), so between this and the Friday the 13th set last week, I'm gonna have my hands full for a while lol.

Got my ISPU notification from BB for the steelbook. Sounds like they look a little cheaper in person. Oh well.

I haven’t seen these movies since the early ‘90s. Looking forward to revisiting them again in 4k!

Both of my gruv orders are still active. eBay is backordered. If my order goes thru on gruv site I will cancel eBay. Ended up preordering steelbook set from best buy cause I started panicking I would have nothing for the foreseeable future. But I'd be happy getting one set for 9.99 since I'll probably end up framing those steels in a shadow box or something

My Deep Discount order just got cancelled... WTF???

I will call them Tuesday and find out what happened. They gave me a preauthorization cancellation email, but that is sometimes what they do when they cannot fulfill (there is no issue with my credit card and confirmed with them). Adaptation got cancelled too. I wonder if they are having fulfillment issues on new titles?

Alliance not getting stock?? Maybe due to production shortages the studios are focusing on certain distributors right now.

The same exact thing just happened to me with a different pre-order I had with DD. I received the "preauthorization cancellation email", yet I know the card is absolutely working right now without any issues, and it's the same card I always use with them. That's the first time I've ever had it happen with DD.

As for my BTTF 4K, my gruv purchase on ebay is still active...but I assume still on backorder. They haven't cancelled it yet at least.

Nope, it was a pre-order for The Haunting (1999). If you add it to your cart now it shows "In Stock", so my guess is that it's a DD billing screw-up. My card is definitely fine too, since I used it about 15 minutes after DD sent me the email.
