yeah, I guess maybe ordered it too late in the game and maybe they just were like we can handle the losses on say 2000 of these but after that sorry

I trust this over the fact that LG deems 10 to be their default setting. Not to mention that to my eye the 10 setting does look artificially enhanced in certain scenarios.

weird thing is the sharpness 10 on those images looks more anti-aliased and less digitally crisp and so sort of actually less sharp!

whatever the case if they know those diagonal lines were rendered with zero anti-aliasing and just as harsh blocks then sharpness 0 on that set is not seeming to do anything and sharpness 10 is playing with things. I need to try something like that on my set and see what happens (I did hear some people say that models in one year worked one way and then the same sharpness setting a year later worked a different way)

Mine has been stuck on shipped to warehouse since Tuesday. I just went to Best Buy Tuesday morning and bought it. Glad I did because they had 1 copy of the new Halloween steelbook which I had ordered through Best Buy’s website but got cancelled. Will return the Gruv copy if it comes to Best Buy.

Yea, it was described as 0 being neutral, 10 applying edge smoothing and >10 adding sharpness.

On a 4K UHD TV, with HDR, HDR10+ or Dolby Vision you shouldn't have to add anymore sharpness to the picture because, the HDR already have deep colors and sharpness. The sharpness on the video setting should be at zero.

eBay is not a Universal-authorized retailer. As such, you may not get coverage for a replacement if your discs have a pressing defect, unless you're buying from Universal's own GRUV store.

Part 1 definitely had a really good PQ. There was also tons of grain. I don't really like grain, but the picture was definitely top notch. Comparing to the BD that came in the same package, it was quite an upgrade.

Part 2 didn't look quite as good and had less grain, but it was still pretty decent. I'm happy with it.

Bit rates on both were over 75 every time I checked. They are 2 of the highest average bit rate discs I've watched. I think only the Pandas documentary was consistently higher.

Well these are my favorite movies. I'm glad to have them on UHD now.
Doesn't PQ only apply to the basic HDR10?

GRUV was selling them via Ebay. GRUV is Universal.

My order is still "Sent to Warehouse" and I'm ok with it. Saw all three versions at Target. Their deluxe didn't interest me and it was good to see the standard 4k to see the size, For a book with that many discs im surprised how thin it is (which is good for me)

Will they gladly toke my money but won’t ship what I paid for. If they didn’t charged me then I wouldn’t have an issue. I’ve sent 2 emails and they won’t respond to any of them.

You all think that Universal will offer a replacement program for this "chroma glitch" or will we probably just have to live with it?

They surely have thousands of orders to go through, so it's not surprising that they are backlogged in shipping and replying to every question and whim. What exactly are people expecting, Amazon?

I can wait a while if need be for my $10 order. If I was in a rush, then sure I'd probably pay the normal $40+ to get it elsewhere.

What are the odds this is $30 on Black Friday? If release price is $42, it'll have to drop lower, right?
