Out for Delivery today when it should've arrived day of release. Was supposed to get here on the 22nd though. Standard release. Not a fan of Steelbooks. Will eventually put into 2-Disc or 3-Disc Viva Elite 4K cases.
Nissen also made damn cool custom covers with the original Drew Struzan poster artworks.

This packaging... Wow, y'all weren't kidding. It was traumatic taking the discs out just once, they are never going back in there.

What would be the point of this exactly? I ask because I have used BDInfo (No 4K drive) and am unsure what you'd be interested in getting out of it.

This will show the number of gigabytes, as well as the bitrates. It will also show the HDR10+ and Dolby Vision luminance ranges. The threads for many other discs already have this data posted on them.

I'm pretty sure what you all are interpreting as a "chroma issue" is actually cheap '80s film stock chroma noise. The biggest (really, the only) problem with this set is chroma noise reduction, but apparently someone forgot to enable it during this section. When you deal with a lot of DSLR photos, it's easy to spot, as most RAW developers have it heavily applied by default. Skin tones become dark, flat, and dull. It's a look most apparent in the nighttime scenes in Part III. Contacting them about this is only going to send a stronger signal that people want all chroma film noise wiped out.

Huh? I've had no problem with the packaging at all. I think it's just fine. In fact, the packaging is one of the neat things about the whole presentation. In some cases packaging is everything and this one nails it out of the park. No problems here with it so far. Learn to roll with the times.

Caps-a-Holic.com always posts BDInfo with their comparisons but don't recall if they've ever posted the parts regarding chapters.

Popped in BTTF 3 this afternoon. After reading much of this thread, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was absolutely thrilled by this transfer. Big uptick in resolution and the HDR pass brought new life to the color and depth. The outdoor vistas look amazing.

As Geoff mentioned in his fantastic, in depth review, there is a bit of an orange look, but it fits the old west motif just fine. I can’t claim to have a professional eye, but I am happy with this and can’t imagine it looking much better.

As for the movie itself, it doesn’t quite achieve the classic status of the original, but it is a great ending to the series. I forgot how awesome the Alan Silversti score is, especially with the old west flourishes. Special kudos to Thomas F Wilson for his hilarious portrayal of Buford Tannen.

Hope you all enjoy it as much as I did!
