like here...the bricks look more defined I guess? same with the columns unless I'm mistaken

blu doesn't actually have any more real detail there, just contrast enhancement of edges, it actually has a trace less true detail if you look really closely at the fancy bits on the columns; that shot appears to be a trace filtered on the UHD though, from my few quick peaks, I think the bulk of it looks less filtered and with more grain than that cap shot for the UHD and the new UHD clearly looks better than anything we've seen before (there is a little part with low res chroma though, but it seems short at least)

the UHD almost always looks more natural than the old blu, often by tons and there are plenty of spots where it very obviously shows more detail

Stoltz was tonally wrong for the first movie, why would you expect him to be right for the third? And after being fired and humiliated in the press?

Because Seamus McFly is NOT a comedic, energetic character like Marty is (and he's not carrying the film, he's a supporting character). He's played as serious. Just this earnest, mild-mannered guy. Stoltz could've played that easily and knocked it out of the park. He played a similar character four years later in Gillian Armstrong's Little Women.

Also, it wouldn't have been a tip of the hat to 1% of the audience. That's not what I'm suggesting. The audience had ZERO knowledge of what happened behind the scenes at the time. This would've been simply a professional courtesy on behalf of the filmmakers to Stoltz. As I said, an olive branch.

Let me ask you a question: why did they make Seamus look so much like Stoltz in the movie? Pure coincidence?

I ordered through Gruvs official website and they charged my card on 10/20. Still haven't got a shipping email and I emailed them 3 days ago asking if my order shipped. No response.

The crazy thing is I've made 3 separate purchases from their website and their ebay store over the last few weeks and got them all within 5 days of ordering. MY BTTF order was made on 9/25 and they won't even reply to my emails. SMH

If you look at the feedback on Ebay, there is ample neutral and negative feedback stating that the seller never replies to messages. And not just for this set, or any other of the glitch cancelled purchases, but other items where there was a problem.

Same reason there were price glitches, the "service" (whether through Ebay or their own site) is likely understaffed and not really well organized or well thought-out.

I’ve sent several emails. I paid using PayPal and it charged me like a couple of days after ordering it. So since they won’t respond or ship my order I’ve filed an issue with PayPal and now it will take a bit cause they have to do their thing.
