Yes, redeem in MA, if your MA account is connected to iTunes, they will upgrade in iTunes after the MA UHD redeem.

I think the effect is instant and certainly once you travel to the future it's already happened. The movies are just very clumsy about being consistent. The kids shouldn't fade in order because none of them are there when the photo is taken. Also Dave's upper body isn't older than his lower body.

I watched Parts 1 and 2 so far. I'll watch Part 3 on Saturday. I got the Steelbook so no scratched discs!

Part 1 definitely had a really good PQ. There was also tons of grain. I don't really like grain, but the picture was definitely top notch. Comparing to the BD that came in the same package, it was quite an upgrade.

Part 2 didn't look quite as good and had less grain, but it was still pretty decent. I'm happy with it.

Bit rates on both were over 75 every time I checked. They are 2 of the highest average bit rate discs I've watched. I think only the Pandas documentary was consistently higher.

Well these are my favorite movies. I'm glad to have them on UHD now.

I watched part 3 now. It seemed to have a ler bit rate than the first 2 as I noticed several dips into the 70s. However, it was definitely a much better picture overall. There was also much less grain than the first 2 movies. I think there was only 1 scene where I even noticed any grain. Well so much for Parts 2 and 3 looking horrible (from BD). Part 2 was serviceable this time but Part 3 is incredible.

The Bonus disc seems to consist of mostly youtube videos from the past few years.

Not reading all the pages again lol. Hopefully in couple few weeks this will go back to 5 or so pages a week and I'll read them all.

Me too. But it’s not the packaging. Got the same issues on those exact scenes and the disc has no scratch at all. Has universal said anything about the issue? Is it a common thing or did I just have extremely bad luck?

Mine had it just as Marty drives off to the start line for the clock tower sequence and again with Doc looking up to the Clock for the switch to 1985.

Took the disc out and gave it a wipe and it played fine next time around. But I did notice some smearing I tried to wipe away so I will have to see what happens next time I watch it.

I'm not convinced it's all the discs with these stutters I think the players getting warm after awhile play a part too.

God knows what stutters LOTR will have...

I must admit I thought the film looked great I was grinning most of the film.

Probably watch part 2 over the weekend.

I got the US set and the discs are a bit tight, I'll see what happens with the other two discs. But the artwork is great when I have it in hand, I do prefer it to the UK set.

The Korean set with the cases and poster artwork is nice but a bit too pricey for me at the moment.

I imported the UK version of the Alien Anthology set since it came in a plastic case and I was wondering, is there a similar release as the UK Alien Anthology set for the Back to the Future trilogy that can be imported?

The U.K. BTTF 4K set has digipack fold out packaging with the discs in plastic trays, just like the Alien set did.

I can’t stand this shit. This is what’s keeping me from pre ordering the LOTR set!! Are there any other known issues with the other movies? Or is it just the first one?

I watched III tonight and thought it looked really good although the added artificial sharpness stood out more to me than the previous two films. Anybody else notice that?

Just finished watching the first film. I have no issues with colors, but I do have an issue with the appearance of pretty much the entire film, and it is of DNR. It is pretty heavy handed. A standard BD without the smoothing would look better IMO. This does not look film-like at all.

Target,Walmart and Amazon are the same.
The only ones that I ever got something on or even before release date were BullMoose and BestBuy
