Yeah I don't understand your comment fighthefutureofhd. She dropped out of the role so they therefore lost her. I'm not saying her reason wasn't understandable.

I don't put much stock in what Gale has to say after his comments about the Blu Ray transfers - (he said they look amazing).

Being that HE is the creator and co-writer of the trilogy, you should be trusting every word he has to say about it.

If there's one thing you can count on from creators and writers, it's 100% accuracy!

Did you not read the post you just quoted? Gale praised the transfers on the old blu-rays when they were very widely criticized for the amount of digital processing they underwent and the messed up colour grading they were given. That right there proves that you shouldn't "be trusting of every word he has to say about it." Just because they made the movie doesn't mean they have the slightest clue on how to properly remaster a film. They're writers, a lot of them have zero idea of how a faithful film restoration is supposed to look. I mean clearly.

I don't know. It's not like they "lost" them or anything. They knew where they were. They were just unavailable. Though In Crispin's case, I think "lost" is a nice way of putting it without being douchey and all.

+1. See Cronenberg and Friedkin.

He was probably telling the truth before the blu-ray transfers were made.

And you, being someone who didn’t write the movies nor was on set every day nor have any input on the grading, know more than he?

Huh? His comments were about the Blu-ray transfers.

Where did I say that? Nice strawman argument, though.

Please take a look at the Hollywood reporter story back in 2015 regarding the lawsuit, I think youll see that Glover while he may have been a pisspoor sport about things was actually in the right. He hated how the end of BTTF went down and how the family was better off. He disliked the script to part 2

Yes, I know all about all that, but I still believe he’s wacko.

Is there a close ball park of a release date of this? The first post has this as a early 2020 release. To me January 2nd is early 2020, not May or June that's mid 2020. But I can see this being released sometime around May and maybe an official announcement closer to mid Feb and pre-order start mid March.

I can tell you're frustratingly wanting to speculate about when this is gonna be released, because you obviously really want it. But iv just looked at all the release dates and apart from only a couple of times it being released earlier in the year around spring/summer, most of it's releases have been later in the year. But who knows!
