Eh, it's the year 2020, what isn't made with cheaper lower quality manufacturing? When it comes to physical media we can't be the proverbial choosy beggars w/ref to replication, given all the plants that have closed in the last few years. The UHD discs don't appear to be rotting yet so they've already lasted longer than Warners' HD DVDs did, lol

It was at that time I reminded myself that movies about time travel are best left not thought on too hard and just enjoyed the rest.
Wouldn’t both the normal and rich Biff 1985 timelines still share the same divergent point of Marty being in 1955? After that it splits off. If Doc being committed eliminates Marty from ever going back in the first place, then the rich Biff timeline would never exist either because old Biff never would’ve gone back in time to give young Biff the almanac. There’s probably multiple universes where all these different timelines and fates of characters exist, but for simplicity’s sake, I think the way it’s presented in Part II makes sense.

Gruv's eBay just shipped out my order today. Ordered when it was $10.

Can't complain about the wait as the PS5 will be my 4K blu-ray player.

I was wondering when typing my post earlier whether that is why they edited out old Biff fading away due to being shot by Lorraine because if they show what happens to him then Marty and Doc should be affected by the changes too as I alluded to earlier.

Is it fun this time travel nonsense, gets your mind working even if there is no correct answer.

My Gruv eBay order just shipped. I decided to check on it after reading the comments here and lo and behold, I got a notice and tracking number. Time for a dancing banana or three.

There's really no sense in trying to wrap your head around it. The film makers didn't think it all the way through and that's ok, it makes for an easy to follow adventure film. It's like sausage: don't think about it too much, just enjoy it.

Same here with the ebay Gruv shipping notice. And I ordered late in the game (when it was still $10).

Wouldn't Marty be transported to Switzerland?

Mine shipped as well. Now to decide if I'm going to keep the steelbooks or just stick to the $10 set?

I was about to buy this at Walmart but they had that anti theft thing on it and that bent up the case on the sides.

There's definitely a rule in the films that if you're the one time traveling, you're time-displaced and the timeline and people's memories transform around you, but you still remain intact the way you are.

As far as I can tell, there's basically two types of time-travel principles in stories. BttF follows the "time is a river" model, which means it can be changed and modified into different streams. The other one is the 12 Monkeys version, which suggests there is only one solid timeline that cannot be changed, and anything done in the past from time travel has already been done by those who have done it in the future.

I don't get Gruv. I ordered directly from their website a few days before everyone caught on to the error. They charged my card on 10/21 and they still haven't shipped. I've emailed them twice with no response.

Got my shipped from Ebay email tonight.... So hopefully I'll get it later in the week. I'm sure I'm not the only one who got the same email, but I'm just glad that they full filled all the orders. Edit: I just looked at the tracking info and it has a estimated delivery date of Nov. 10. Wow, 8 days to get here? Well at least it's on it's way.

I emailed them 4 times and even called and they don’t know when they are getting more in. The lady said they was back ordered but that clearly was a lie cause people are getting their orders shipped.
