Yep. They took $10 from me and all they sent was a brand new UHD trilogy.
Edit: more exactly they sent me a shipped email today apparently along with a bunch of other people via Ebay order. Last edited by hariseldon; 11-03-2020 at 03:34 AM. |

Watched all 3 over 3 nights. On the whole enjoyed it all and the revisit. That being said in II the over the top biff's kid and Matt's kid felt really out of place to me. Those kind of parts changed the tone and feel to much for me. Part 3 I think the climax and resolution had a good intention, but would have had a better wrap up it the cut it short and just ended it before the actual ending.
But as a whole there are good parts across the board, an imperfect trilogy, but an interesting one worth the visit and then revisit all these years later. I'm someone that bought the original blu-ray release but never even opened it. So had not seen any of them in a long time. Also not a single skip or pause and while I have one of the best tvs ever made, my UHD player is a lower end discontinued Samsung. |

I just noticed on part II's new bluray, (haven't checked the 4k yet) the scene in 1985a after Biff's men knock Marty out in front of Biff's mansion, when it goes to black & you hear "the easy way", the dreamy music immediately plays & we see Marty sleeping in the bed. I remember it taking a few seconds to transition from the easy way to the dreamy music on cable, vhs & dvd, is this an alteration or how it was originally in theaters? sorry for the wording

No, Gruv is operated by Universal. An understaff warehouse trying to pick, pack and ship over 5,000 copies along with other items they sell. They are obviously trying to fulfill these for those that they haven’t canceled already. Otherwise, they would have canceled it by now. We don’t know how many they were able to order in their initial round from the disc manufacturing plant and when they could be shipped. So, they could very well be short on stock and trying to ship these out as quickly as they get more. If it wasn’t for the glitch, they probably wouldn’t be having these delays as there wouldn’t be so many BTTF sets sold.
Worst case scenario, they realize that they won’t be able to get more copies any time soon and canceled the order and refund you. Also, it’s possible that for those already sent to warehouse stage on Gruv were already shipped, but forgot to update the status online. They do ship via USPS media mail, which is very slow, especially now with the election/pandemic stuff going on. So, may take a little longer than usual once shipped. If you want this set for $10, then just be patient. They won’t take your money unless they plan to ship your stuff. If they can’t, they cancel and refund you. |
