The lenticular photos are great, the Almanac 'excerpt' actually has real sports statistics, the newspapers are fun and the continuity script except is verr interest for movie nerds.

I had the 'tin' edition of the first Blu-rays like 10 years ago which came with some similar tat and I was disappointed by some of it, like the photo of doc and marty with the hill valley clock in 1885 which literally looked like a snap of a VHS freeze frame, but now it's much higher quality. I recall being verr disappoint with the Almanac too, I dunno if I was expecting an actual Almanac or what (maybe I was hoping that some would have a copy of Ooh La La instead ) but I wasnae happy. Maybe this latest 'excerpt' of the Almanac is the same as that 2010 one, dunno, but I was pleasantly surprised this time.

So yeah, they haven't just upgraded the movies, they've upgraded the tat as well.
Could you share some pics? i like to buy that set even at current price.
Thanks

Seen the first twice now and my impression was it was like those numbers. And I like me those numbers Yeah, it has it's faults, they've been covered; but I'm 90% happy with the 4K UHD, it's HDR and WCG!

I saw Part 3 before Part 2 (30 years ago) so it didn't affect me haha.
Didn't spoil me in the cinema

Are you saying it didn't bother you? I don't see how it's not a spoiler, but I guess it maybe just built anticipation for some (most?).

I don’t see how knowing that the movie takes place in 1885 before seeing the movie is a spoiler. Isn’t it obvious Marty will go back to 1885 based on what’s said at the end of Part II? Do you think the poster for the movie is a spoiler too since you see Marty and Doc wearing cowboy hats?

Well he hasn't read the full letter yet.

And then you're not wondering will he or won't he when Doc reads it.

I'm not super complaining about it or anything, and not saying they should be tagged or something on here, but yeah they're spoilers.

Has anyone made custom art for the US standard 7-disc 4K set that would fit a Viva Elite 25mm 7-disc case? (for this one: https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Back-...lu-ray/255538/ ) I just can’t bear to ever put the discs back into this horrible case in fear they will get even more scratched.

I’m rewatching Back to the Future 3 (looks great on 4K) and I always found
[Show spoiler]that shot of the DeLorean from 1885 buried in the cave kind of creepy.
I still remember seeing this movie as a kid and people from the showing before ours walking out and saying “They’re definitely not making another one.”

Saw these all recently; original and pt II just last week. And I thoroughly enjoyed the viewings again. The energy of the ten minute clock tower sequence in part I used to be driven more by the soundtrack back in the DVD (SD obvious reason) but even blu-ray days since it was such a processed HD image there.

Now on 4K UHD and in DV my whole experience with that iconic sequence is fully realized to the most I could feel the first times as a kid and you were just blown away and transported.

These discs do that for not just that, and in the end of pt II and start of III but several major sequences in this trilogy which tickle me with the maximum joy I can as an adult.

I've never thought of the look at #3 at the end of #2 as "spoilers." It's a trailer.

Maybe the shot of Marty and Jennifer together could be considered a spoiler, but otherwise, it's just a collection of out-of-context moments. The only revelation of significance is that Marty goes back to 1885, which is the whole premise of the movie.

The actual standalone trailer for the movie gave a lot more away (as trailers were wont to do back then):

I think most/almost all trailers spoil movies. I avoid watching them if I can, as I enjoy the films more not knowing what's coming. It'd be a lot harder to do in this case.

I always keep a partial mindset of seeing them for the first time, or like I'm watching them with someone who hasn't seen them already.

Damn. I'm still bummed out. I picked up the bluray set (30th) like a month before this 4k was announced. Have been depressed about it ever since. Lol

I still hate that they did that. It completely takes the suspence away from the ending of 2. Even now, I always stop the movie before the trailer pops up. I hate it.
