Which ones? The 70MM or the 35MM?

VHS usually used the 35MM. DVD and up the 70MM. Sounds were often different between the two.

All 3 films have great dolby vision transfer and good Atmos audio tracks. Well worth the upgrade. I've had these on multiple formats and if this is the last format then it's a great place to finish on the physical format.

My (at least) part 1 4k is doing the pixelation and freezing on Xbox One X. Can anyone that had the same issue chime in on whether getting replacements fixed the issue or if its just a player thing.

I think the shotgun sounds are "enhanced", they definitely are not the same as they were, but the original sounds are buried in the mix somewhere, but then there is another new sound effect laid over the top.

The DVD. The original Blu. The remastered Blu. The UHD. The digital versions. Any version that would be televised or streamed in 2021. All modified. You’ll need to play a 35-year-old VHS or laserdisc copy to hear the original sound.

The opposite of what happened in ESB where in the theaters (for sure the 70mm) Han went: "Then I'll See You In HHHELLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!" where for most, maybe all, I forget, home/TV/re-releases/etc. versions Han goes:"Then I'll see you in hell." They muted the heck out of it, especially the HELL!!!!!!! part.

Thanks for the info. I was able to try my "broken"copy on a different player and it worked fine. Weirdest disc i have ever come across. Not sure how good Gruv is on replacements, but i guess its worth a try.

I had that briefly happen on my Series X with the last scene of Part III. I had to totally restart the system, but once I did, I was able to navigate back and watch the scene without error.

My assumption is that the problem in my case was just with the XBOX app getting overloaded or something, since I couldn't replicate it. Does yours consistently do it in the same spot?

Yeah. In the first movie after Marty gets hit by the car into where he finds Doc in the 50s. Which seems to be a problem area for a lot of people. I haven't tried the other movies yet. I'll try restarting.
