I has had them, yes. But they were a little dented and damaged so I sold them a while ago.

Because here is the thing, Jurassic was an earlier 4k title. Meaning it was just the film on the disc, so it had none of the extras, and it also lacked DV. The release in 2020 for BttF had both. While I for one would love if they actually did new encodes as the 4ks are botched in some spots. For me the biggest is the drop in resolution when Marty gets to Hill Valley. As it has noticeable aliasing, and had to be some mess up by someone at universal dropping a temp file in there for that scene or something as the aliasing isnt present on the remastered disc. There's also some other noticeable issues throughout the trilogy but that moment is the biggest issue for me. I really would love it if they did fix the discs finally, but the fact that the new extras look to be included on a seperate disc seems to squash that dream

For me, it's the sort of chroma shift/bleed that happens throughout the second half of reel 5 (from 1:14:28 to 1:24:15). Especially the red channel.
It puzzles me. I cannot understand how something like this could happen on a modern release, almost reminiscent of an old Hi-Vision master...
Here's an example with a close-up shot. And here's the original shot.

There's also the overall "too sharp" look, mainly visible on Part II. Here's a good example with sharp lines bleeding into other parts of the picture.
And here's the original uncropped shot
.

Still a major upgrade over the old Blu-rays though so not complaining too much. I wouldn't mind a release with fewer digital tweaks, however.

It's amazing that these have always had problems, at least from DVD onwards. People have said stuff like it's the source elements etc but it's weird how it's had different problems in different parts of the film from release to release. And they were even kind enough to put that aliased Hill Valley sequence on the 4K but not the new Blu, just to mess with our heads.

As said above, the 4Ks still destroy the old Blus and get far more right than they get wrong, it's just a shame that they can't ever escape unscathed.

Erm...the remastered Blus were released in the UK e.g. https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Back-...lu-ray/275927/

And the remastered Blus were included with the 4K set(s) too

Walmart put up the wrong image.
I ordered it and cancelled my Amazon pre-order before I found out. Now the Amazon exclusive can no longer be ordered and I cancelled my Walmart pre-order.

For bonus materials, all the newly announced sets have the same content. This is the most complete standard set, until next anniversary probably. The prior sets lack the new bonus disc.

If you just care about the actual 4K discs of the films, they're identical across all the 4K releases.

anyone else getting the steelbooks? I'm just getting the steelbook for the first movie. That's the real gem IMO. I understand people love the other ones too. But I've already seen them and don't really want them as bad as the 1st. So I'm getting the 1st steelbook and that's it.

Amazon has dropped the BTTF2 steelbook preorder price to $24.96 to match Walmart.

But BTTF and BTTF3 prices have not dropped.

I just bought the 35th anniversary edition of BTTF Trilogy. Are these same masters/transfers? Does anyone know for sure? I can live without that extra disc otherwise.
