Given the amount of issues people had with The Mummy trilogy..
Anyways, the Italians list what seems to be a standard digipack edition with this pic. Hard to tell as I couldn't find a better pic. 7 discs including a bonus disc.

I'm far more annoyed with how Universal insists on pinching/exaggerating the BTTF logo itself lately. It doesn't make it look more dynamic or cool to do that. It just makes it look like the logo of the animated series or something. It's cheaper looking than the original logos, which are fantastic. The E in future was also originally a bit different on the original film as compared to the sequels, but they never bother getting that right now, either.

EDIT: Is there any chance Universal will release these individually in standard amaray cases?
I only have one steelbook (Jaws on 4K) and I love it. Planning to buy more in the future. But agree with digibooks.

I don't despise steelbooks, they're just not very high on my list when it comes to packaging, but i will take them over digibooks. I currently own 12 of them with The Shining 4K being my latest steelbook purchase.

Also, with the conversation about scratched discs with digibooks, i just checked my 30th anniversary BTTF trilogy digibook and although the discs are fine, the spine on each page is starting to wear and crack.

Wish I had Doc's DeLorean to go and get it from when it was still available.

I just realized I bought the UK trilogy (individual cases) in July 2014 and the US 25th Anniversary edition in November 2014 just because the digipack was cool and there was embossing and holographic effect lol

I had that set back in 2010 but sold it when it when I discovered it had gone OOP and was selling for triple what I paid so bought the regular release instead which I then replaced with the 30th Anniversary set a few years ago but over the last few weeks I have seen people trying to sell that fancy tin set and have thought about picking it up again.

That is the sort of packaging I expect for the UK set as our releases very rarely mirror the US packaging and are often fold out digi-packs when the US set is a digi-book.

If you used Paypal they charge immediately. If you used a CC they just placed a hold for the charges that would have dropped off. If the item shipped at lower price you would have been refunded to Paypal the difference or charged lower on the CC.

Ordered amazon hoverboard version instead.
BB always does a temp auth for the full value that falls off the card. They charge whatever the price is when it ships. Been that way for years.

67 minutes of new extras, not too shabby considering the amount of extras the trilogy already has.

Don't get me wrong, in a perfect world I'd like the discs in individual cases, but I've never experienced anything close to what you're describing.
By destroyed and horrifically I mean that the discs either wouldn't play any more (on any player) or constantly skip if it did. And I was as gentle as possible, as gentle as you would be with a baby, discs still got scratched and irrevocably ruined. My current UK amaray set has lasted a hundred times longer already than my 3 previous USA sets.

Apart from the audition tapes (all three minutes of them) and the prop tour I have no desire to watch a half hour piece about the BTTF musical and some goofy YouTube nitpicking video. There's nothing really left for these movies to give, extras-wise (NO WE'RE NOT GETTING THE STOLTZ FOOTAGE), and these 67 minutes are proof of that. It's a bit of fluff to pad out the press release as much as anything.

Just curious, would Universal have to pay Eric Stoltz if that footage was official released by them?

People keep talking about or inferring "pilot error" when it comes to scratching these discs in these ghastly sleeves, but it's not really about the end user causing the problem: it's the people doing the manual labour of handling these discs and inserting them in the cases at the factory who are the ones who don't give a shit.

I try to avoid these sets like the plague but of the few I've had in recent years like the Spider-Man (Maguire) 4K set and the Fast and Furious 8 movie set there were scratches already present on several of the discs, bought brand new and factory sealed. They didn't personally cause me any playback problems but different players have different tolerances, so when other people say that they've had a litany of playback issues with sleeved discs then I've no reason to disbelieve them or automatically assume that they're treating the discs like crap.

I understand why people are frustrated by this packaging as I have the warner 50 film set which is a digibook and scratches discs everytime I pull one out.
