I ordered and I had no immediate plans on buying this since I don't have a 4K TV. I already have the original Blu-ray trilogy as well as the 30th Anniversary release.

Placed an order on eBay as well, and exactly 20 minutes after I received confirmation email, I received this message directly from their account titled "gruv-entertainment has sent a question about item #124346877259, ending on Oct-21-20 09:28:05 PDT - Back to the Future Trilogy UHD Michael J. Fox NEW":



My eBay username was typed out and was provided with Order Reference number as well. Not sure if a bot on eBay is capable of sending out personalized messages like this, but it surely does make it seem like it was a legit transaction and that they're aware of this being sold for $9.99.

Only ordered due to the need to get BTTF2 as I have the HMV JPN steelbook on order.

Of course they can cancel an order, it's in every on-line T&Cs, they can cancel at any time for any reason. I've even seen T&Cs were a company says it will try and retrieve mispriced items if they've dispatched. We've also seen companies stop orders (which customers have paid for) in transit.

Technically there can be issues as some people pay from with PayPal or get dispatch notices for items they'll never receive (so payment is sent), which breaks post T&Cs, but companies do it without any repercussions.

This will go down two ways, you'll either get your order or you'll get a refund and cancellation, if it's the former I can imagine anyone who's ordered multiple copies may only get one or they'll get their order cancelled. If it's the latter you'll get a refund in a few days.

I also wouldn't get too excited about a dispatch notice. I'd wait until the set is in your hand and it's the UHDs, not one of Universal's 20 other Back to the Future box sets.

If anyone's order should be cancelled it's the person that ordered 30 copies. Those of us that ordered 1 copy should have our order honored.

I ordered one directly from gruv.com and one from Gruv’s eBay account. Hopefully one of those two will come through.

It might be legit though. If Universal wanted to let enthusiasts know about Gruv without spending millions on advertising, this’d be a great way to do it. Sure you’d take a loss on a couple thousand BTTF sets, but from a cost benefit analysis standpoint, the actual cost might be less than an advertising campaign, and could possibly be more effective.

I accidentally clicked into here last night. I'm glad I did. I usually miss out on these kinds of deals. Still upset I missed out on the Target Deal for the Red Ranger Legacy Power Sword for only $20, which I only see scalper prices for. $300+ You know those were the ones that got it for super cheap.
