What i would be interested to see in the UHD release is the footage from when Eric Stolz played Marty if there's any hanging about
When watching the new master, did the end credits look correct? I mean, when the film was released on Blu-ray, the end credits looked like they were squished.

Just wish they had the hoverboard edition on 4K instead of just Blu-ray.

that is a really good price through target, but for now i guess i will pay a dozen more and go through amazon, as if these discs end up scratched, exchanges are easier if need be.

also, as much as i hate sleeves and stacked discs, i don't think i like foldout cases even if disc protection is there. i dont like the requirement of having to sprawl the thing across the sofa or a table just to get one disc out.

Are you the guy who won't wear a helmet on a bicycle because you think it doesn't look cool?

Originally I pre-ordered from Target and then when I saw Amazon had the same set but in 4K pre-ordered on the spot, but $10 cheaper of course.

Watched the first two movies on Netflix. They look absolutely fantastic! No blanket tint of any kind or excessive NR. They look as BTTF should look like. This is going to be another great UHD release. Studious are finally stepping up their game. It only took 20+ years to get it together. If we could only erase the history of DVD and Blu-ray...

I don't think I have ever wore a helmet on a bicycle. Neither did anyone else growing up. If it were a motorcycle I would.

It will be a pleasure not to watch the original BDs ever again. Now, there are certainly worse transfers on my shelf (e.g. original Trek movies and some others). However, the digital look and issues of these bothered me more and more over time to where it discouraged me from even putting them on. The 2K DCP of the first movie I saw a few years was of no relief except for having a little more film grain than the BD.

What type of TV did you watch this on? No 4K here yet, but I still want to check it out. Still can't wait for this release...
I went to look for these and can't find them on Netflix. I see the advertisement for it but no way to watch it.

unfortunately, they were removed from Netflix on August 1st, as If the 4k announcement probably had something to do with it.

Only from US Netflix I guess because we still have them here. PQ is much better than the BDs but I think they are 1080p only.

Will there be a standard/no crap included (hover boards, steels, posters, books, etc.) version of this trilogy? I don't buy stuff for all the bells and whistles. Just give me the meat and potatoes.
