YES! Just came on here to post the same thing as I'd been keeping the page open and when I refreshed it this morning, I saw it was available.

I don't mind that it's currently showing the December date either!

I have but one single solitary gripe with ALL sound mixes of Part III.

Part III is the first Universal film to feature the 75th anniversary fanfare, but the audio for that fanfare was monophonic.

The next film Universal released was Ghost Dad, which had the fanfare in stereo.

It wouldn't be accurate, but I still wish Universal would replace the mono track of the fanfare with a stereo one.

Now that I've got the time circuits locked in, I might just get the regular edition anyway to tide me over, especially if it comes with individual cases with OG art.

No. I think the tat that comes in the box is tat. The steelbooks are steelbooks. Poorly conceived ones, but steelbooks nonetheless.

But, hey. I like tat as much as the next guy. My 2001 A Space Odyssey collector's edition should be here tomorrow complete with embroidered patch. Mmmm, embroidered patch. So I say it with affection. But let's not kid ourselves, eh

Same. I just keep buying and buying and buying (with a bit of selling, to make some room) and never get around to watching it all, but BTTF is getting watched on day 1.

My point is that regardless of the "tat" you would be waiting 7 weeks for steelbooks and I, personally, think they are well executed and that therefore the cost and wait is nearly justified or at least not reprehensible. The "tat" is subjective ...
I also have the 2001 set on order but I favour the Moonwatcher badge.
To really pin it down; everything except the disc in a protective sleeve is unnecessary tat but I like a bit of creative tat so I'm good to go.
