I actually ordered 2 movies that came out on the same day 1 at Best Buy and the other from Amazon and both use USPS for delivery at my house for some reason when UPS does deliver to my house. Will the movie from Best Buy was able to get delivered on release day but no amazon. Amazon can use the virus as an excuse cause Best Buy and other retailers have no isissues with release day delivery.

I've had my OLED for going on three years now (LG 65B7) and it has absolutely no "burn in" at all- and that's even with me having turned the ABL off on the service menu! So yeah, what you wrote above is utter bullshit.

Same here. I spoke to customer service who told me that it has an undetermined street date. She suggested I just go to the store and get it.

My Amazon hooverboard version was showing Out for Delivery today. I cancelled the order and now it is going back to Amazon. Going with the Steelbook set that was delivered yesterday.

Me (and another forum member)had a HUGE problem with Jaws 4K when it was released from Best buy-so they aren't perfect either.

Even todays action movies in Atmos are let's say crappy. Example i have watched many movies where there's a flyby but it doesn't feel like it went front to back at all, but that's how they mix it, compared to the Atmos demo disc where you hear Atmos works fine in the home theater.

Right, I get that, but Atmos in older movies is more about the musical score like the fantastic representation of the musical score by John Williams in 'Jaws'.

The score by Alan Silvestri is fantastic! The Atmos should be perfect regarding that aspect.

Watching on an Xbox One S, but I haven't had any issues with UHD freezes before. Otherwise, it's a beautiful set and really enjoy the upgrade.
Your discs likely have a pressing defect where some pits are unreadable. Even if the discs are not scratched, the layers could have been "smushed" together in one area during pressing causing the pits in that particular area on at least two different layers to be out of focus and indistinguishable. You will not know that your disc is like this until you run the entire disc through a player or computer drive. If you have a computer drive, you can download a program called Nero DiscSpeed and use the ScanDisc function. Request a replacement from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.

I only watched the first film, as others have said, it's like seeing it for the first time. It's like wiping haze off a window, everything just looks clearer and more natural compared to the old BD which I have watched many times. I can't say I ever noticed the black stripes at the top of Marty's red "zoot suit" tie before, or the diamond pattern at the top of Lorraine's dress.

I agree with poster KMFDM about the audio, I also noticed the lack of bass upon the first startup of the DeLorean in the back of Doc's van. On the flip side I felt the bass was ramped up in the final sequence, particularly when the "fire trails" start behind the tires of the DeLorean. Dynamics did seem lacking in the beginning, but seemed to even out as the film progressed. Could have just been my imagination.

The first instance of Power of Love also sounded a little off, but the second instance and subsequent music was fantastic. I also thought the high end of the mix sounded a bit hot, maybe exaggerated by my system since I run "Flat" EQ. Overall I was very happy with the Atmos.

Unlike some here I am a fan of all 3 films, can't wait to check out the sequels as they sound like the biggest upgrades.
YPAO is known to be one of the worst EQ software, I didn’t care for it when I had a Yamaha. It affects high frequencies too much while not doing much to lower frequencies.

OK.... I just received this from Amazon (I got the standard version), and was sweating bullets based on the horror stories I have read on here. It was, of course, in the standard bubble-wrap mailer (with all of the "bubbles" popped, I might add), and it was with some trepidation (and the intention to return if there was so much as a scratch) that I opened the ENVELOPE (really Amazon? For a box set?). There as no damage I could see (only a slight crease in the slip box, but that was not shipping damage). Now came the fun part... removing the discs (I have regular UHD cases standing by with custom cover art). Removing the shrink wrap revealed that most of the discs were sticking out a bit from their respective slots. This was actually a good thing, as I was able to grip each disc (through a microfiber cloth), and slowly pull each disc out (the thing I was most afraid of was that a stray drop of glue would hold the disc in... which was never the case here... whew!). Two of the discs were all the way in their slots, so I had to gently rotate each using my finger on the art side until I could grab it (as above). Finally, each disc was examined for scratches, and all I found were two tiny hairline scratches on the BTTF BD disc. Other than that, I dodged the proverbial bullet, THIS time.

That being said, this is the last title I pre-order from Amazon (I have since moved everything over to Bullmoose)... In any case, glad to finally have one of my favorite trilogies on UHD...

I got my copy yesterday from a local Best Buy and cancelled my online order. I like the packaging and was impressed by the whole book look of it. I plan on watching all of these Friday as I wait for my new precious to arrive from China.

It's still bloody ridiculous we have to go through this packaging nonsense, just because no doubt some hipster idiots think this is "saving the planet" .

No it isn't, and it's not saving our Blu-rays. You got a problem, design a practical solution.

I've never had any issue with it, I thought most of the hate came from the fact it didn't handle low frequencies as well as Audyssey. I think I tend to like a hotter high end than most, this is the first time it's stood out to me. Maybe if I used the "Natural" EQ setting it would smooth things out.
