That's exactly where I had stuttering, freezing, and pixel breakup! I just looked at my disc again and wiped the edges clean and that fixed it. Gad, looks like 4K discs are more sensitive than Blu-rays...which makes me worry about these ridiculous tight pockets that Universal puts them in. Why can't they just have normal cases and add a booklet?

I was hoping Geoff would come up with a superlative to describe Part III’s disc, but he kind of outdid himself.

By the way, the German UHD is faulty at Part 1 (new Atmos mix of the German dub).

At the timecode (ca.) 01:51:30 there is a part of Marty's line missing (marked bold): "He, Doc. Wir sollten noch ein Stück zurücksetzen. Auf der Straße schaffen wir sonst nie die 140".

I guess that's why Universal stopped German Amazon from shipping the steelbook version (the only UHD version in Germany).

Broke down and grabbed the standard set at Best Buy despite my only being a fan of the first film (the sequels are okay I suppose, but nothing on par with pt 1 and I don't see myself watching them many times - but oh man, I couldn't resist the set this time just to get my hands on the classic I, especially after all these positive words on the PQ/AQ and like mentioned, this will most likely be the last/best shot to own it on physical media. ).

Not a fan of the packaging at all, I mean I couldn't even get a damn disc out without touching the precious side, pffft...but what can you do.

My Amazon Italy order arrived this morning (2 days early). Poorly packed but no damage other than the outer card being a bit dinged, which is in Italian anyway. Everything else is in English. Lovely looking steels imo.

I have the same situation with the Target Exclusive blu ray(it seems multiple people are having this issue with Target and a Back To The Future set).I spoke to someone at Target.com.They said,they see my pre-order and that it's currently out of stock.Once it's back in stock,it will be sent to me.So I'm in a holding pattern.I'm tempted to call again or try the chat since over the phone they told me I just had to wait.

I got my set from Amazon and not only was the outer box destroyed because they sent it in a bubble mailer, my discs were scratched to hell. Sent it back and went right to Best Buy and got a steelbook set for a few dollars less.

The Amazon thing aside, I was really unhappy with the packaging choice. Those cardboard sleeves are awful.

There’s really no excuse why these companies are out of stock. It’s Universal being lazy by not producing enough.

The exclusive as in the Blu-ray set with the hoverboard? I got that and a 4k set and they canceled and reordered. Never told me it was out of stock so I would try another chat rep. Now mine says it should arrive by Saturday but it hasn’t shipped yet but it actually has a date unlike my original order.

I also ordered with the BOGO half off coupon, but the other half of my order was delivered weeks ago, curious if it's safe to cancel or if they would adjust my payment. Local stores are in stock if they could change it to a store pickup. But to be honest I wasn't really planning to watch these right away so I might just wait.

I think my local Targets have some of the exclusive.I know atleast one of them says it has two copies.I have been doing online ordering since the pandemic since I have a compromised immune system.I'm trying to limit the places I go which is why I've switched to online ordering.I go out one day a week on Fridays for necessities unless I have a appointment for something.But I would make a special case for a in store pickup at one of my local Targets if that would resolve this easier.Hell,I'm going by both of the Target stores tomorrow morning for my weekly shopping & errands and can easily stop off at either while I'm already out.
