Why, he ran all the way from Lyon Estates to the town center. No need for an extra DeLorean.

Lol kinda like how everyone is a political scientist now.

The only thing that's "true" in a film is what you see on the screen, everything else is your (or someone else's) imagination.

If you guys ordered any TV shows from them at eBay (Parks and Rec, House) call them, because I had an order for P&R and they told me that they cancelled the order on the 10th but there's no notification on eBay and now I had to sent a request for refund.
Mine came Saturday, but truthfully had my doubts. I ordered from Gruv off ebay...

As others have pointed out, there is a Marty that vanishes. Let's call him Marty 2. Our Marty sees him go back in time at Lone Pine Mall at the end of the first film. Marty 2 grew up affluent with cool parents, but he still goes to the mall and meets the Doc, and flees the Libyans in the DeLorean and goes back to 1955.

What happens to Marty 2? Why doesn't he come back to the 1985 that our Marty is in? Simple, something went different during his time in 1955 that prevents him from coming back to his original world.

My favorite answer?

Marty 2 was immediately shot dead by old man Peabody. Peabody buries Marty 2's corpse on his farm, and tells his terrified family never to tell anyone. Then he dismantles the DeLorean and sells it for scrap metal.

Random thought:

Having watched Part III for the billionth time, does anybody else think Zemeckis missed a great opportunity to cast Eric Stoltz as Seamus McFly?

I mean, Fox looks a lot like him in the film and it would've saved the production money on VFX.

I dunno, maybe he was busy shooting another film. Would've been a nice olive branch though.

No. You’re literally the only person on earth who thinks this is a good idea.

Stoltz was tonally wrong for the first movie, why would you expect him to be right for the third? And after being fired and humiliated in the press?

And it doesn’t fit with what they were doing in Part II. You don’t do an elaborate motion-control scene to feature MJF as 3 interacting McFly members in a single shot only to hire a different actor to play another McFly relative months later.

Awkward. Incongruous. A tip of the hat to the 1% of the audience that was aware of the whole situation while leaving the other 99% scratching their heads? No. No. No. Jesus ****ing Christ, NO.

Anyone know if the Aussie set Blu Rays are the new transfer or just the old disks?

For all of the talk of the horrors of the sleeves.... well parts 1 and 2 from the steelbooks are a mess of stuttering and freezing. Meanwhile, from my Amazon sleeve set.... those discs seem to play back much better. I still thinks it is fingerprints and pressing errors that cause most problems and not so much sleeves.

Same but WORSE. Sometime in the early viewings of blu-ray () I finally noticed the dress. Can forgive the dozens of viewings on VHS not noticing, as a kid. Can slightly less forgive the next 20 or 30 viewings between the mid 90's and DVD era, increase res. and then 40" screen in the late noughties still missing it...
