These codes cause a lot of thread updates of negligible content.

Sorry for the confusion- can someone post the upc of the US version of the 4k set where the films are in individual cases and NOT the cruddy cardboard sleeved digibook? I want to be sure I order the correct one.

The link on Blu-ray.com will take you to the correct one as well. That's how I ordered my copy, which arrived from Amazon today, in a box:

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Back-...lu-ray/361686/

Why couldn't Universal possibly release this edition in the first place? So many marketing shenanigans to end up here years later.

You mean the great Joe Flaherty from Second City?

Even though I first saw him in Part II, he will always be remembered as the heckler from Happy Gilmore in my mind.

He was one of the funniest guys on the planet. He held his own working beside Martin Short, John Candy, Eugene Levy, Catherine O’Hara, Andrea Martin, Rick Moranis, Dave Thomas and Harold Ramis. You need to see SCTV if you like those players.

Of those you listed, the only one I'm not familiar with is Andrea Martin. I read online that she was famous for the My Big Fat Greek Wedding films and a slew of voice work, but nothing I saw on her Wikipedia page looked familiar. I had to look up Dave Thomas, and remembered him primarily from the early '90s sitcom Grace Under Fire. As for the rest of them, I was never a fan of really crass attempts at comedy, so just about the only film I saw in that style was Spaceballs.

I hadn’t seen Andrea in much since SCTV, but I always thought she was just as funny as the rest in that ensemble. As for Spaceballs, I prefer Hardware Wars. I feel Mel Brooks’ best were Young Frankenstein and Blazing Saddles.

Crazy! I re-ordered lol

I was in a unique position as my return was already initiated. I asked them for a price adjustment and they said no can do but would refund me once they received it.

Does anyone here think the regular edition with the amaray cases will go any lower? I already own the set from 2020, but the packaging is absolute dog shit! The cardboard sleeves are falling apart, and the discs are scratched. I'm also not a big fan of Steelbooks.

Oh wow, didn't realize it was re-released with regular cases with the OG poster art! Ah well, I already bought the UK steelbooks.
