It was never “early 2020” anyway.

This is from the original announcement:

Yes, it could be delayed but for all we know, it’s still on track to be released later this year. Most home video releases are.

I mean I guess they might release digital only but it seems hard to believe it wouldn't get a corresponding physical release.

I really think this will get pushed back even further into the year because of what's going with world and everything that has to do with entertainment is getting delayed. My guess now it will be closer to Oct. or Nov, if were lucky. I hope I'm wrong and its closer to August or Sept.

Why it’s not like they are filming anything new so how would it be delayed? I’m more surprised a release date hasn’t been announced, but deleting home releases makes no sense.

I'm hoping it gets announced for the summer. Maybe July or August.

Considering how few big films are coming out right now (with no movie theaters to go to) it would be great to get the set this summer.

There was a few new CDs I pre-ordered from Amazon last month and now they pushed back one of those until the end of May. So I'm assuming they can do that as well for movies. I'm hoping not here, BTTF is my all time favorite trilogy let alone favorite movie in general. I have BB gift cards that are waiting to be used specifically on this release and hope they announce a release date sometime in May at the latest. Too many movies from Universal such as Jaws and The Goonies have release dates but not BTTF.

There's more to getting a product on the shelves than filming the movie.

I'm not saying it's going to happen for this film (since many parts were probably already moving before the pandemic), but the industry of producing new disc titles — even for films already in the can — is in manufacturing, not film-making.

Are you saying that the manufacturing sector will not be affected by this crisis?
