Exactly, not that difficult to get your head around lol

Once tried to explain the a friend that at one point in BTTF II there were four Deloreans in 1955 but he couldn't get it lol

So in other words, to have the whole shebang, I should buy the current set, then buy the 4K too. Well, I guess it could be worse, lol.

The animated series is available on its own on DVD.

There was a time when I thought Part 2 was the best. There was a time when I thought Part 3 was the best.

I just assumed
[Show spoiler]he eventually decided to construct whatever technology he was missing, possibly on prompting from Clara. What he probably needed were transistors. The guy built a time machine with his own hands, I think he can probably make some transistors with enough time to gather the rights metals.

I remember as a kid part two being great, but I never remembered the Alternate 1985 segment. I wonder if TV cut most of it out.
I wondered why Biff looked so odd and was shooting at Marty, and why he said he and Lorraine were together.

I've been wondering this, too! Like you, I sell on my old copies when I upgrade, but I really like the packaging on the flux capacitor set, so I'll likely keep it. If the animated series isn't included (I agree that's not likely), that would clinch keeping it for me.

Now, when can we expect some official news on this release?

I have the DigiBook with the Animated Series in it.
I'll swap out the BDs with the UHDs
But, here's hoping that the Animated Series makes it to BD when the movies come to UHD.

Yeah, I am curious if they would put the animated series on Blu-ray. Would be nice to upgrade it!

I bought the DVD set when it first came out.
- Bought a second copy eventually...
I bought the first Blu-Ray release.
I bought the 25th anniversary set.
- One of those was bought twice...
I bought the 30th DigiBook (movies only)
Then I found the DigiBook with Animated Series and bought that.
Next I'll be buying the UHD set...

What is wrong with me?

Nothing at all. You're a fan and know what you love. You've played a part in keeping the franchise alive and helping get superior content into the marketplace. Well done :-)

Also, it looks like the end credits for the first film are in the right proportions on Netflix, rather than the squished version on the Blu-ray.
It's been fixed already.

Glad to see this one being done in 4k - hoping it's actually going to be a native 4k transfer and not an upscaling of a 2k DI.

Not a chance. For something actually shot to and finished on film (no 2K DI) then there has been one - ONE - example of a studio using the old HD transfer for a 4K upscale. And that was four years ago.

Every time I come in here I think there’s been an announcement... I’m ready for BTTF 4K already.

I own the DVD trilogy,
3 editions of the Blu-ray (25th Anniversary Collector Tin, 25th Anniversary Delorean Model and the 30th Anniversary Flux Capacitor Set)
and I’ll be getting whatever the most loaded edition of the 4K set is.

I bought the series on Blu-ray from Germany last year, only SD but the quality is pretty good and it has all the extras from the DVD boxset but to my surprise they are native HD.
