Well, no, that's literally what he's questioning by saying "if the UK is like this" then he'll get that one. As would I, but we don't know yet.

The question doesn't exclude not knowing that this actually is the Italian one, but a release of unknown origin and maybe the UK one.

Anyway, I just wanted to point out that it's the Italian one. For all I know.

EDIT: Having said that, I'm actually not sure it really is the Italian one (despite amazon.it etc. listing this) and therefore also said question.

To be fair, there is some truth there. When we had HD cable, I often caught my wife watching the standard def channels. When she's had her lady friends over, I've caught them watching DVD's out of a blu-ray combo pack. I casually walk by and notice...

Me: "Just curious, did you wonder why the movie looks really blurry? Would you like me to swap out the DVD for the blu-ray?"

Wife: "No, that's okay. We're already half way through."

Back on topic. Not sure which release to get. None of them look appealing. I will probably order the standard edition and create my own custom set like last time.

It will most likely be like that. The Game of Thrones set has English title but the actual 4K edition of season 1 was with Italian title. The modern trend is to keep the English titles but older ones still tend to be translated.

Grabbed the Target 4K set plus Weathering With You w/ the B1G1 50% circle offer. Paired with 5% off with my RED card it was a grand total of $51 plus tax. Not bad at all

The final version may well have the Italian language title on the outer slip, amazon.it are terrible for updating the art, but I see no reason why the digipak itself wouldn't be legit and that's what I'm after the most. But I know you hate your titles being in another language so this would be off the table otherwise.

Never say never. Us Brits got individual releases on Blu-ray... and with the original artwork.

We also got separate Jurassic Parks on UHD too, albeit as steelbooks (for some bonkers reason they released JP 1-3 in regular cases as a trilogy and JW in a regular case on its own )

Yeah, I don't get why World got bumped off to singledom over here, yet the (at the time) four films were bundled together in the States.

And here in Sweden we got all the Jurassic films as individual releases only. The first four had slipcovers, but not Fallen Kingdom. Fallen Kingdom also received a limited edition steelbook, but none of the others did.

It's a mixed up, muddled up, shook up world.

Yes. And yes. I actually sent "Houston, abbiamo un problema." and "Il Ponte sul Fiume Kwai" back to them back then.

This. I'm not holding my breath for original artwork, but individual releases are a given with Universal IMHO and the artwork can't get much worse than what's on offer so far. Maybe not in the US, but somewhere. Didn't have to buy one single Universal set yet. Maybe some Zavvi steels with original artwork?

P.S. I hate myself for not getting the US set when it was £25.

Lol. No doubt if this comment was written just a little later, he would have spelled it "wymyn" and then went on his blog to complain about all the Chads and Stacys.

Less compressed version on Vimeo. There's grain on this one! What a relief.

That was Monday. Today is Thursday. And someone pointed out it is now sold out at Amazon - if you go to the site, you will see it is currently unavailable.
