Point is, the studio (or its leadership) can offer better than that to moviegoers. |

Well, as an American (with two parents buried at Arlington National for active military service in WWII), I don’t like it either
![]() Any theater operator with half a brain would have required theatergoers to sign a waiver to protect themselves from liability, perhaps not so much from North Korea, but from some nutter acting out inspired by it all. |

http://www.inforisktoday.com/sony-ha...o-blame-a-7692 I’ll tell you one thing, if evidence is ever uncovered that the initial breach occurred let’s say prior to March 2013….…http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/new...terview-430224 then that would shed a new direction to the investigation of the true culprit(s). |

As a quick aside to the studio hacking incident and its repercussions (which have become National headline news, just today I hear Amy met with the Rev as part of her apology tour to seek absolution…. http://www.latimes.com/entertainment...218-story.html).
Anyway, an update to a Sept. 2013 posting – or ‘the jury is now in’… https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...ry#post8166457 and also to now give my old friend Wendell a more precise answer… https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...ng#post8193664 THX testing indicates the issue is “in lengths of five meters and greater”…. http://www.twice.com/news/audiovideo...fication/55334 |

Peeps,
Tomorrow I go in hospital for what the heart docs call a ‘touch up’, but to me, something which involves poking a hole thru the inside wall of my heart isn’t any “touch up” ![]() In the meantime, as I figure nowhere else on the internet is filmmaking information like this - https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...d#post10107534 https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...e#post10112285 readily available, hackers need not concern themselves with hacking into my email account and revealing all my correspondences with filmmakers, as the info is already public knowledge to Blu-ray.com members....as well as my recent surgical hx. as noted above. ![]() Later. See ya'll on the blood thinner side and hopefully stroke free. ![]() |

Holy smokes, dude. If they try to keep you in there, send up smoke signals and we'll bust you out of that joint. Unless the nurses are really nice, in which case we'll join you...don't keep us in the dark, either way. |

Will I need entirely new hdmi cables to handle future 4k 60fps snd the wider color spectrum or are the articles I've read true- that all hdmi cables are the same? My ( manufactured 2014) 4K TV has hdmi 2.0 and the HEVC codec built in already. Do I need new hdmi cables for 4k Blu-Ray movies and standalone players when they come out or will my monoprice ( non-Redmere cables work for a hdmi 2.0 60fps frame rate, color spectrum, or any other features enabled by the hdmi 2.0 spectrum?

As long as the HDMI cables are "High Speed" they will work. |

Current DCP allows for 4K 3D. But I don't know any movies mastered in that. Most, if not all are 2K 3D. That said, 4K 3D HFR is not possible.
