500? your outta of your mind it was only like 100 on dvd with a whole tin case and everything and when it came out in hd dvd for japan it was only like 70 and this series was amazing

f*** yeah!!!! best mini-series ever! Hitler: The Rise of Evil is a close second though.

I enjoyed Hitler: The Rise of Evil very much. I'm surprised anyone knows what that is.

As for Band of Brothers, I hope it releases this year.

Now I'm going to be thinking about it on blu all summer.

I hope the price does not go beyond $150.00 thats for sure.

Hitler The Rise of Evil is underrated, great acting and set designs. The only complaint I had was it stopped right when he became the Fuhrer, although the perfect follow up film to watch is The Downfall. I just finished watching The Breaking Point episode from Band of Brothers, I just can't wait to watch it on 1080p!

This will be great on Blu-Ray! One of the best war mini-series I have seen in a very long time. I doubt it will run over $200 bucks, if that plan on selling them they should keep down the cost, and of course it will take less discs so that should help reduced the cost right?

I just hope the Blu-ray version includes all the extras and features the tin DVD box set came with, but with lossless audio added. I also wouldn't complain if the discs were individually packaged in metal cases steelbook style.

This is a buy for me...but the price will have to be right. Definitely a must own for war fans.

This will probably be released with John Adams, which is another great tv show, I wish it was more than a 7 episode series
