I love how the Scenarist folks are so proud of Deadpool they've put it twice on that banner.

Deadpool 2, yeah, I want to see that. The first one in HDR looks almost 3D.

If some are wondering why my past posted pictures have disappeared, apparently the free image hosting service which I used switched servers or something and they’ve evaporated. If anyone needs explanation with regards to a past post containing a disappeared image, just ask and I’ll try to repost with the same image using a different image hosting service.

The politics of creative intent (with some reference to HDR), article by Carolyn…. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/be...d-post-1102218

Sort of a follow-up to some of the concerns introduced by Peter (in English) in the 2nd vimeo clip – https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...y#post14920991

Wondered about that, but supposed it might have been an issue at my end of the chain. It's all good probably. Onward to 2M views.

Question for all of you:
If you had a panel that clipped highlights in HDR pretty bad, and by lowering contrast you were able to regain those highlights but at the expenses of a much dimmer picture, would you rather go with a brighter picture and less detailed highlights or deal with dimmer picture while being able to see all the HDR highlights?

Have you ever seen what picture looks like at low contrast? Whites look muddy.
So you would rather deal a dull picture with muddy whites in order to be able to see all details in the brightest areas of the picture? Interesting, and thank you for your input.
