It's not too far-fetched to presume that the HDR10+ displays could receive special instruction set tuning per model for the 10+ metadata for the limited number of displays involved. Wouldn't really put it past Samsung.

Yep. And they're still pushing the unproven narrative that Amazon Prime streams HDR10+ currently. Eight months of this canard now; no customer has ever seen the HDR10+ logo on their TV; but this doesn't deter them from repeating it over and over as if it's true.

I’ve been looking at upgrading to another Samsung Tv. My current one isn’t fully 100% hdr capable.

Looking at the Samsung UN55NU8000. Anyone have any input on its HDR? From what I’ve read, it seems to be a very good tv

Also not 100% hdr capable, and still pretty far behind too. I honestly wouldn't recommend any non Qled TV if you're buying Samsung because other brands offer better value/performance at that price point and that size.
