Metallica: Through the Never - January 28, 2014 preorder - Blu-ray Forum

(Video On Demand) on January 28, 2014 through our very own label, Blackened Recordings.

The DVD, Blu-Ray and 3D Blu-Ray will include extensive behind-the-scenes footage from the making of the film including an 80+ minute Making of Metallica Through the Never documentary put together by our good friend Adam Dubin (A Year and a Half in the Life of Metallica) and including two never before seen chapters.

A special limited-edition package will be available with extra goodies for our die-hard fans and the Met Club family can also expect to get a first crack at grabbing a limited-edition set including a piece of an actual stage prop used in the film as well as a lithograph print autographed by the four of us.

For those of you who aren't into physical media anymore, the digital format will include the feature film as well as the Making of Metallica Through the Never documentary.

Our international friends can look for the film on DVD, V.O.D. and digitally on the same date as the U.S. or very shortly thereafter with some countries listed below. Please check back here or http://www.throughthenever.com often for updates.

I was more blown away by the concert stuff in 3D than the interstitial stuff, which was a cool enough concept for me not to be completely bored by it.

I don't see the 3D preorder on Amazon, trying to decide between 3D or 2D viewing for this one. I love the sound of the CD soundtrack.

Just got the films sound track on vinyl, there was 33 1\2 and a 45... I got both. I think I like the 33 1/2 versions the best. Sound close to what I heard in IMAX . Pictures soon to prove.

45 rpms 4 180 grams autophyle vinyl.

Hope you like the pictures... I kinda hope this proves how much I love the film and truly would love the Limited Doris Deluxe Edition.

Not a problem. When I like something I try to get it in the best edition(s) possible.

I've just started buying vinyl so I was unsure which rpm was the best.

Now if I'm lucky to get the prop boxset my job on this would be completed.

the M stencil looks pretty badass !

Ok... was able to get a peak at the Deluxe Edition of Through The Never....

The film comes in a record/laser Disc type case. When holding it is veary light, as if something is missing....

Any who... the pictures above are my thoughts on how the case will look when opened. I'm sure it'll look more professional, the stencil us in place of the to unsigned lithographs...

I'll be bummed if a non member get the replica, but at the same time be happy for them.
