Definitely skipping theaters and going straight to UHD for this one. JW2 looked fantastic and I expect this will too.

Same cinematographer, and based on the trailer, there will be some pretty spectacular visuals. It'll be a must-buy on UHD.

However, there's just something about watching John Wick in theater. The way with which he slaughters enemies with such finesse is almost a religious experience that is worthy of a theatrical viewing.

The theatrical experience is pretty overrated these days, IMO. Also I don’t LOVE these movies like others seem to.

I'm down for this day one. At the theater.

I completely disagree. Watching a movie is much more enjoyable at the theater than at my house these days. Those comfy seats that go back and the giant screen. Not to mention the food. I don't care what companies try to do. They can never get popcorn to taste as good as it does at the theaters. Also, the sound is amazing. There is almost nothing better than going to a movie opening weekend and watching it in a theater with a large crowd. Some of my most treasured memories have taken place in a theater. I don't have that many treasured memories when watching a movie at home. Oh wow! I remember when I took the cellophane off of that new UHD and stared at that slip for the first time. And when I pushed the eject button on my Oppo. OH MY!!! That's taking me back. I'm getting verklempt.

In my experience it’s far more likely that other moviegoers will make for an annoying distraction than a fun night out.

I watched it in the theatre yesterday. Gotta say, it was a great experience. Wick should be viewed on the big screen. No question about it.

Really looking forward to this.

In the meantime, another video of Keanu Reeves training for JW3.

This will be an easy blind buy.

But perhaps I'm going to check it out in cinemas.

Same here, except that I only go to the theatre to watch plays.

I go to the cinema to watch films.

Avoided all trailers, which I do more often these days. Don't want to be spoiled anymore.

Exact opposite for me.

Loved the first two and can't wait for this one either. Day one at the theater and since I never got around to buying the first two on any format I will get the inevitable three pack.
