A movie about the most insane aircraft carrier battle of all time? From the director of Eight Legged Freaks? AND Nick Jonas is in it? Well stomp on frogs and shove a crowbar up my ***, I have to see this!

All jokes aside, this movie has to have a sizable budget to showcase all those aircraft carriers slugging it out. Hopefully this movie isn't Pearl Harbor 2.0. I'll pay to see it regardless. Also check out the original Midway from the 70's. It's quite good.

Well...why is Nick Jonas in it? Just getting young viewer and making some more $$$ .

Oh wow, didn't realize this is coming out next week. Feels like there's been almost zero PR for it.

Aside from the occasional trailer before movies, you're right. Though, I don't watch a lot of TV so there may be a ton of ads playing now. Especially during football games. Still, I haven't seen much promo from this at all. Didn't even it release it started next week. Not a good sign.

I saw trailers for this, and thought the CGI was horrendous.
Also, this director doesnt have the best track record.
I smell a dud.

Saw a trailer for this front of Terminator, I'd clean forgotten about it TBH. Looks like an outstanding bit of cheese, not gonna go to the cinema but I'll pick up the UHD.

Is it remotely possible that the CGI could have been done in a rush to meet a deadline and could have been fixed by the time of the BD release?

By looking at the trailer the Graphics it looks phony the ships in the harbor look like cheap drawings and tracers bullets don't look that in daytime another Pearl Harbor the lame movie about Pearl Harbor that one started out with and Army pilot going to fight for the British they had civilian pilots help them not U S Military pilots worst mistake in history of cinema

It's possible. Remember that time they updated the Cats CGI after opening weekend.

Mandy Moore looks like Phoebe Cates in that poster. I love WWII pacific battle movies but I'm worried this is gonna be atrocious.
